Those sidepods.
Kimi looks like he'd rather be at the Bar![]()
Unless he's been at the Bar for several rounds already, yes. Yes he does 👍Doesn't he always look like that?
I can't see the T-wing lasting long. With any luck, the FIA will ban any bodywork in that area and kill off the shark fin.
It's likely to be a moveable aerodynamic device. Why would they?
I'm with you on this 👍I can't see the T-wing lasting long. With any luck, the FIA will ban any bodywork in that area and kill off the shark fin.
Ugly, er, is in the eye of the beholderWhy would they? It's not ugly, doesn't seem dangerous, just an ingenious idea.
Yeah, I was about to say suggest that. The slightest bit of movement and it'll probably be considered a moveable aerodynamic device. Either that or the FIA will consider it to be dangerous. As odd as they look, I really appreciate the teams thinking outside of the box though. It's likely to be a moveable aerodynamic device.

you know Red Bull, it gives you wingsThe McLaren reveal is almost here. Considering they've hired some aero expertise from Red Bull over the last years, I think we could be in for yet another car with interesting aero solutions.
That is crazy. How would they manage cooling with a sidepod entry this small?! It'd be interesting to see their reliability this year.![]()
New Ferrari means insane sidepods, they're taking radical approaches again.
No there isn't, it really is that small. There is a smaller vent under the main roll hoop though. If you look at pictures from above, there is another opening on the top of the sidepot.
This is the FIA we're talking about ...The car? Cause that's the only way that part is a movable aero device.

T-wings would give the FIA the pretext to ban them - they would be able to ban all bodywork from appearing in that particular area of the car.Wishful thinking about the shark fins being banned given how long they were around previously
