T-wings would give the FIA the pretext to ban them - they would be able to ban all bodywork from appearing in that particular area of the car.

Only if they wanted to do so though. I don't think the FIA have any issues about shark fins themselves and might yet even allow the T wings to remain. History shows though that wings in this area have been banned pretty quickly, whilst shark fins have never been reviewed.

They were only really banned at first because F-Duct. Otherwise the FIA dont seem to mind them. The T-String as its been hilariously called isn't ugly and is easily bannable without geyting rid of the fin altogether.

Wishful thinking about the shark fins being banned given how long they were around previously, however those T wings look suspect to a rules revision. Probably not on "moveable aerodynamics devices" grounds, safety will be more likely. It would mean the FIA wouldn't have to prove there was movement in the pieces and could just outlaw them whenever they like.

True, but in the past there's always been an element of "Bernie doesn't like it" in the outlawing of the more bizarre-looking devices. Now we live in interesting times.

To the new Fezza... I love it, I think it's the best looking of all, split-nose or not. I think the split nose and the undervanes behind give the best view of how the wind tunnellers are trying to direct that air.

The airbox intake is tiny compared to it's rivals, probably why the sidepods are so conservative compared to Mercedes and Ferrari. Rear wing endplates look very different with the twin step / tunnel.

Still hiding the diffuser seriously?

Uh the side pods seem even smaller on this car than the Ferrari it seems...

Two brand new ground up engines, and yet the tight openings on the side pods are being utilized, that's interesting.

Even more interesting as there is no other team with 2017 Ferrari/Honda engines for a comparison yet, have to wait if Haas can also build so tight. Could be interesting to see on the first long runs in Barcelona.

Reminds me of the Arrows car when they were sponsored by orange.
I think @mustafur put it best, first thing I thought of when I saw it was this back marker.

Yeah after seeing the Ferrari, I'm more curious to see what their B-team is up to.
