Jeff should be glad that Ricky is helping him with all them buttons.
That clown Jordan will make Jeff even more lost.

According to this at the time of me writing this, the Cadillac of Action Express Racing has a top speed of 194 Mph and a best lap of 1:39.258. So yeah...Timing is working, not sure it supposed to be. http://livetiming.alkamelsystems.com/imsa/

My prediction now is that one of the non-factory DPi's will win, most likely the #90. They're the most bullet proof cars going into Daytona. New cars, but the Gibson V8 is a veteran. The same could be said for the engine in the Cadillac though.SC365's write up of day 1 of testing.
Interesting but not shocking to see that both the factory teams had issues today. It's also interesting that the global LMP2 outran the Mazda DPi in the first day.
My assumption is that they'll figure it out and realistically a DPi will win. But if all the LMP2 based machines have issues, a GTLM could potentially win the race since those for the most part are the most sorted cars in the field. I'm also going to assume that the few PCs remaining are probably going to be well down the order due to the fact that, well, PC.My prediction now is that one of the non-factory DPi's will win, most likely the #90. Really? Hmm, in that case I'm unsure then. I thought they'd taken the C7.R's engine.Could've sworn the engine in the Cadillac is basically the LT out of the CTS V and Escalade (which was different from the LS in the Corvette DP)
Nope, it's a 6.2L.Really? Hmm, in that case I'm unsure then. I thought they'd taken the C7.R's engine.

Yep. 6.2 Litre LT4 from the CTS-V. No Corvette in there.Nope, it's a 6.2L.

Well ****.
Yeah it'd be cool to watch it with actual coverage.Hopefully IMSA decides to show this on IMSA TV next year. It would be nice to see some cars go around track at this part of the year instead of reading the times later- even if it is only testing and isn't the Roar.

I'm hoping its GM just seeing which is best moving forward.Time for some controversy, it seems that AXR are using a different brake vendor than WTR, which unless IMSA are letting the DPi teams do something different (and unfairly) the P2 chassis are supposed to be homologated with one supplier of brakes only. http://www.racer.com/imsa/item/137185-imsa-december-daytona-test-notebook-day-2
Yes, because IMSA playing favorites with AXR is a bad sign moving forward.I'm hoping its GM just seeing which is best moving forward.
And WTR just hit 201 mph. I would like to see the difference in aero between them and AXR who are 5-7 mph slower yet are 1-2.The #31 has dipped into the 1:37's.
