So...we always here the "rain tires don't work on ovals" excuse...

...but didn't we do exactly that, just last month?

You can't really compare what works with a lightweight, high downforce sports car with a heavy, low downforce stock car.

Eh, good point.

One would think they were on equal ground with how bad the Continental rain tires are. :p

The Clash at Daytona has been postponed due to the weather.
It will be run tomorrow at 11 A.M. Eastern on Fox Sports 1.

What a 🤬 start to 2017.

Im absolutely tired of this 🤬 happening EVERY 🤬 TIME!

GOD 🤬 DAMMIT!

Why do they need to postpone the race over 12 hours? They've got lights, use them.

I'm guessing they can only make loud noise until a certain time and don't have an exemption like when they run the 24.

From what I've heard people saying, the rain is just supposed to keep coming tonight. I don't know about you, but if I was there, I'm not sitting in the grandstand until 6AM through rain/track drying to watch a race that doesn't mean jack squat.

They have the time tomorrow, might as well run it then.

(I can understand the butthurt if it was Homestead or something, but for the Clash? C'mon fellas...)

I enjoyed that they aired the '93 500 instead.

I didn't enjoy that me watching that contributed to the TV ratings for the dumpster fire that is NASCAR in 2017.

I also enjoyed the fact that they had to show an old race, because if they showed one from last year you'd a get a million twitter morons thinking it was the race scheduled for tonight because they're complete idiots.

Larsen had that much damage or has NASCAR now effectively become as fragile as F1? Also Danica finishing 4th.

Oh great, now I have to listen to Logano's voice crack again...

I'll give Penske some credit, those two cars are wicked fast when they're together. Pair that against the four JGR cars all lined up next week, and we may have a pretty good race.
