I had a quick drive to check out the construction.

Shortland Esplanade

Excellent in widening this curve. Making it safer, as it was just a grass drop off.

The run down Fort Scratchley to the hairpin, in the distance, and loop back towards the pits(out of shot).

I hope the pit structures remain permanent like at Albert Park. Only, having them used for markets and other car club events (Torana Fest, American Day, etc.) would be great.

Wouldn't hurt sales. They could use a boost, so to speak.

What's in it for PRA?

If Ford ain't kicking the tin in anyway whatsoever, why bother?

PRA would have to spend up big on aero development & homologation, only to be parasitised by Supercars to the current level of performance.

I can't see any return for the spend required.

Think NISSAN would pull an HRT and switch to DJRTP?

That's a bit of an unfortunate name ...
"Super Roots"
The category appeals to bogans. If I can make the connection, they certainly will.

The Kubota block of colour spoils it a bit, but for the most part it looks pretty good, definitely does have a retro feel to it. McHitch seems like a bit of a cheap-o sponsor though, but at least it's something I guess.

Look at that! Scott McLaughlin was racing back then! Amazing.

Comments run ad that LDM could sell the REC to avoid fines. I don't know how true that is mid-season.
As for drivers, Alex Davison might be the better out of the two. Guess we'll know tomorrow.

The Mustang is cool. I'd have it with all the decals. Shame they didn't do an Allan Moffat Falcon GTHO Phase III replica.
