The guy who dived in the last game from Argentina in the WC? Please, everyone dives nowadays, even Messi, but, eh, he is a saint I guess.

Disclaimer: I agree mostly with you. Neymar, Ronaldo and others alike are the worst offenders. Diving is getting out of hand and FIFA must do something about it, urgently.

That's a penalty. However, I think Neymar might actually have tainted official's views of Brazil penalties.
 
The acting of Brazil's players has likely just cost them that penalty. One angle looks like it's massive dive but the other angle does look a clear foul, that is probably why the refs decision wasn't overturned.

Seriously Neymar. You could have gotten your head to that and score/get a corner. Instead you fall over. You're never going to be the best player in the world when you constantly do that.

The gods of football were against us today, so it was VAR. Ridiculous penalties not given.

Sour taste to leave like this but hey, we fought hard to the end and a win is a win. Congrats to Belgium, pragmatic but very effective today.
 
Bit of a shame that VAR has not been used effectively again.

As a southamerican, really bittersweet since there's no more Southamerica in this world cup. But man, Venturi vs. Gillet (get that reference??) will be really interesting to see :D
