Can you imagine Larson driving the 41 car?
That would be interesting.
Stewart originally wanted Larson to take over the 14 car.
Nascar reps watching over the 18 right there.
Green suit mechanic finally has his act together.
15 laps. Who's gonna get it?
Nevermind you can all stay on the team lol
LOGANO IS THE
NASCAR CUP SERIES
Happy for Logano, but this track sucks.
Heck of a race.
Glad to see the 22 win it.
Now we wait for the salt.
Yay! Not really a fan of Joey, but since he was the only Penske driver in the final 4 I was still rooting for him.
I'm buying stock in Morton as we speak.
The Shell Pennzoil paint scheme has always looked like a championship winning paint scheme.
All credit to Joey and the Captain. The others had their shots, but they all fell just a tiny bit short.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAH **** THE BIG 3 HAHAHAHAHA
That stupid as hell phrase is dead thank god.
Joey may not have deserved it this year but he should’ve won it in 2014 or 2015 so this makes up for that I guess.
26 top 10s on the year, so I can't say too much as I thought he'd been garbage all around.
4th best is the new 1st best
I bet Harvick and Busch are glad they won all those races and dominated like 85% of the year.
Real (season long) points standings
2. Harvick -54
3. Truex -170
4. Logano -189
So it could’ve been worse (like 2015 where Kyle won after missing a third of season)
In the season long standings Kurt would’ve gotten 5th, but in the official playoff standings, Almirola got 5th and Kurt and Chase tied for 6th place.
So how long before NASCAR installs a rule that requires you to win a minimum of 5 races to be a contender?
With the way the rules are heading, I don’t even think any one driver will win that many in a season for a while.
How about 8 instead?
Seriously, 2018 will be remembered as the year of the "Big Three". And they would have finished 1-2-3 at the finale if it hadn't of been for the rules.
Of all the sad words ever penned, the saddest are these: "It might have been".
2018 Chase in a nutshell?
There is nothing I could say about this year's "champion" that won't get me in trouble here. I'll just leave it at that.
It's no longer the "best of the season" but "best of four in one race".
This just isn't right anymore in my opinion. Just leaving it there, 'cause one, I'll get more warning points, and two, I could probably go on for hours until no end without anything changing.
Honestly, I think this is pretty much what they were hoping for so I doubt anything will change, if anything they'll hype the crap out of it.
At least NASCAR's stupidity hasn't leaked into IMSA... yet.
Seems like Jim and Lisa are the only two France family members running the show with brains. I really hope he doesn't get corrupted by being involved with NASCAR since IMSA truly was (and is) his baby.
