Italy's racial problem has become a lot bigger or is now more widely reported.

To be fair, I don't think it's dissimilar to something The Sun might have done 10-15 years ago.
But that's the point, it is something out of place/time, and they should know better. But if they don't see the problem, and then don't even see it as a problem when they are pulled up on it, then they have a long way to go. :(

Chelsea have had their transfer ban over-turned, meaning they can buy players in January.

Nigel Pearson has been appointed new Watford manager!
That's a name out of nowhere!

I wonder what the odds are on him lasting the season. The Watford owners don't seem to be the most patient. ;) I half expected them to get Silva back!

Eight hours does not a double-post make...

Todays results

Everton 3-1 Chelsea
Bournemouth 0-3 Liverpool
Tottenham 5-0 Burnley
Watford 0-0 Crystal Palace

Some big wins....and a 0-0!

Man City v Man United to come.

Man City 1-2 Man United!!!

Penalty from Rashford and a nice finish from Martial in the first half as City's defence couldn't cope with United's pace on the counter, Otamendi with a late header as City pushed hard and were dominant for much of the match, But United get the win and its 6 points from Spurs and City!

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Despicable behavior from the City fans. In the second half United had a corner kick right in front of them and Fred was hit with a lighter and several other things were thrown. Now it's come out that one of the fans in the first row was shouting racial slurs at Fred and Lingard during that incident. I'm sure it will be reported to the FA. But what amazes me is that watching that idiot yell those insults at the United player are several stewards right in front of him!! Why don't they immediately have him kicked out? At the first insult they should grab him and escort his dumb ass out.

The Stewards should get the person and hand him over to the Police, never mind escort them out. And the cameras should also identify anyone who threw anything and prosecute too.

As well as any legal proceedings, lifetime bans from football for them all. Zero tolerance.

Is this the place to discuss Major League Soccer news as well, or should I make a dedicated thread to MLS?

6 times Ballon d'Or winner scores in his 6th game in a row against Mallorca.

It says General Football, not General Soccer..
Blame the NFL for taking the football term in the U.S. and soiling it.

Yeah hand them over to the police is kind of what I meant. That's what we should have seen on camera. The first time the idiot opens his mouth and says that racist nonsense, two of them grab him and take him straight to the police. But no they just stand there and let him go. Now you're trying to search and find who he is. Just ridiculous.

I saw that Manchester United won the Manchester Derby 2-1. I only saw a few minutes of the second half in Stoppage Time. All congratulations to Man-U dumping their rivals Manchester City.

Police have arrested a man in a connection with allegations of racist abuse during the Manchester derby yesterday.

He was named and shamed on Twitter last night, and people found out where he works.

Leicester City 4 Aston Villa 1. Jamie Vardy with 2 more goals. Liverpool had better not take their foot off the gas because it doesn't look like Leicester City are going away anytime soon.

Todays results.

Norwich 1-2 Sheffield United
Newcastle 2-1 Southampton
Aston Villa 1-4 Leicester
Brighton 2-2 Wolves

Sheffield United and Newcastle came from a goal down to win, Leicester's bandwagon keeps on rolling and that's eight straight league wins and Vardy's now scored in eight straight league games, all the goals in the Brighton-Wolves game came in a frantic first half.

Carlo Ancelotti has been sacked by Napoli despite qualifying for the Champions League last 16 after beating Genk 4-0 tonight, Napoli have lost the last five Serie A games.

Thought this was interesting news as Arsenal and Everton are looking for managers.

I think that may have had more to do with the recent player troubles Napoli have had rather than just losing the 5 games, especially as they are through to the knock out stages of the Champions League.

I could see him at Arsenal, but not Everton, especially has he has managed in London before. Though with how much character has to be found for the Arsenal squad, be that getting the players minds adjusted or buying characters, it is a big job I would pass on if I were him.
