Colton is out, he was really dissatisfied with the reliability issues he had in the season.
 
Soooooo, first 28 laps have been duller than Monaco's first 28.

This race better liven up with the pit stops or some cautions.
 
That could have been very ugly in the pits.
 
Hanley has a driveline issue.

Generally speaking, hinder. The only exception is at the end of the race if someone is very close on fuel.
 
Will Power will restart at the tail end of the field for hitting crew members during his last stop.
 
Pagenaud only ever seems to pit when NBC are in an ad break.

I love British television sometimes
 
Looks like the Hondas for the most the part have the fuel mileage advantage over the Chevys.


King's crew member transported to IU hospital for further evaluation.
 
Pagenaud (Chevy power) vs Rossi (Honda economy), the key battle on now.
 
Rossi reported to have a 7 lap fuel advantage on Pagenaud. :D

In other news, Ferrucci in the (partially) Hoonigan-sponsored car running 5th & Erricson running 6th. 👍

Aaand just as I get excited, Rossi's fuel filler fails and Erricson crashes in the pits...
 
Every times Newgarden pits, his team adds front wing. His wing is gonna be standing straight up and down by the end of this race.
 
Rossi is pissed. Lost a huge amount of time on pit road.
 
We're going straight to a fuel lottery...
 
This is a long caution for a small crash in the pit lane which was cleared up 10 minutes ago...
 
So this caution saved Rossi from losing more time. Will restart 5th. He looks like the only one aside from Carpenter that has anything for Pagenaud.
