Is it foolish of me to suggest that from now on, all aero will be signed off at the conclusion of wind tunnel testing, and therefore we can be assured that these ‘bootlid extensions’ will provide neutral downforce?

Edit: P2 was good. Nice to see the Nissans are speedy. Jacobson and SDS almost in there.

Would love to see Mostert in the #12 next year.

re: Chaz v Fabs - if Fabian keeps this performance up for the duration of the year I see no reason why he won't remain in the 12. If he does a good job then he only loses the seat when he decides he no longer wants it.

They are nowhere. This year is starting to feel like 2017 all over again.

A main game team (*cough* WAU *cough*) needs to sign Will Brown, immediately. This kid looks like he's going to be special.
 
All six Fords in the top 10, did the aero tweaks make them faster? Ford's first 1-2-3 of the year too.
 
Oh you're right, they did. Twice. I was looking at the results table on Wikipedia and Cam was so far down the list I didn't notice he picked up two thirds there.
 
Russell Ingall echoes my feelings, in that, the Mustang should not be touched for the rest of the year. I understand what PM is saying about the testing and results to come, but clearly, Percat and Whincup(and Giz) showed, the ZB is right there. Perth has made it an even playing field. Look at Simona's performance. As well as Jacobson showing more improvement in qualifying.
 
Just got caught up on last night's race. Not really a Whincup fan (at all) but I had a good laugh when he basically told his team to buzz off when they told him to let SVG by. :lol: I absolutely despise team orders in racing.
 
Really hope BJR can keep up their form.

Edit: Dang. Simon and just missed out. I think it was that off by Jacobson that may have slowed her a fraction.

Wasn’t able to watch last night or Sydney last year, so it’s cool to be able to watch a night race live.

The final is great for seeing the glowing brakes, plus the sparks off the kerb look fantastic.

Wonder about Simona. She ran the longest and sits 13th. Has she pitted again?

That was only at PI due to the size (or lack thereof) of the pit lane.

Scotty wins again :lol:
 
Mustang converted to FF layout due to more BOP adjustments needed
 
McLaughlin has to have his steering inverted for Winton. Turn right to turn left and vice versa.
 
Convert all Mustangs back to FG X spec by Winton, until VASC can figure something out.
 
They can still be Mustangs but they now have to be this Mustang.
