Correct decision, i wouldnt wanna even drive in daylight in those conditions on this track let alone racing in the dark.Very dangerous.

Usually if fans were allowed you would have a lot of ambient lighting coming all of the parties, campfires, temporary compounds that are all around the track. But with no fans combined with this weather makes it extremely dark and dangerous as you said.

Back.

I see dry patches on the track, so apparently the rain has slowed down or seized all together, but its still dark.

Hopefully the race will go on, otherwise I woke up for nothing.

:gtpflag: THE RACE WILL CONTINUE AT 8 AM LOCAL TIME! :gtpflag:

So in 55 minutes from now on.

First lap will be completed behind the safety car.

EDIT: there might be more then one lap behind the safety car, depending of the amount of standing water on the parts of track and how fast a dry line appears.

So, two starting groups to give each class a fair start. First group includes the 16 cars leading the race, all starting from lap 39.

Possibly two laps behind te safety car before the cars are unleashed in full force.

Most of the cars are build back to new-like condition during the pause.

EDIT: 5 minute board shown at 7.55 am local time.

8 am, we have green flag and the cars are off.

It seems the M Sixes prefer drier conditions, up to second and third already. :D:tup:

Edit: after seeing the replay where the #29 Land Audi kicked up leafs while chasing the KMGC Porsche, I realized that this is the true Autumn Ring!

Watching a race without sound proven difficult, subtitles quite confusing sometimes. Took a minute to gasp why Tom a chick, almost though it is Charlie's friend.

I'm curious in which priority SPX to SP 9 and other groups? Or there is no different to top, but have priority over others?

If I'm not completely wrong, the the Sp 9x is the same as Sp 9 regarding overall speed and aerodynamics etc, the only difference being the X stands for experimental. Dunno if that means then that its a prototype of sorts.

Apparently the SP9X class is reserved for un-homologated cars.

Depending on when you started, stopped, re-started watching the race, you haven't missed much. They had a red flag for almost 7 hours in the middle of the night because of excessive rain and poor visibility.
Wow, okay. I got to watch qualifying and the beginning of the race, but I missed pretty much everything else.

At least I can catch the end.
