I find it hard to blame him for driving like that when overly aggressive driving tends to get rewarded by NASCAR.

McDowell ensuring that Gordon won’t have to wear the Chiefs jersey again.
 
Until the cars can spin through the infield without digging the bumper/splitter into the dirt, the cars are too 🤬 low to the ground.

Man that was awful, the roof is caved in the on the drivers side.
 
I don’t like how long it’s taking Newman to get out of the car.
 
We're used to watching big wrecks at the superspeedways but I haven't seen anything as viscous as that. Watching it made me feel sick.

The good thing is that the cars are so strong with the roll cage around the drivers seat, hopefully the issues are more him being stuck rather than injured. Fingers crossed for good news.

I genuinely thought Austin Dillon died back in 2015. I fear the worst again.
 
That last segment saying he was out of the car on the way to the hospital, but not even saying "he's alive" seems like a really bad sign. Gordon sounded like he was about to cry.

Both of them sounded like they were about to cry.
 
The side of the roof where his head would be took a direct hit while he was upside-down. Just one of those unlucky things they can’t completely anticipate when designing the car.
 
I feel sick to my stomach. The finish was exciting until I saw newmans car and then the replay. I don't even know if I should of watched now.
 
Blergh, getting 2001 vibes out of all of this. :(
 
Really hope the guy's okay. What I'm hearing all sounds very worrying. Refusing to watch videos or anything.
