Chelsea 1 - 1 Manchester United
A very interesting game, Chelsea dominated large portions of the game and nearly took the lead around 5 mins in. But they were very poor up front, very poor. Added to that, De Gea is still in good form, Eric Baily played very well too, and for all of the shots they had, they just weren't very good in front of goal today.
United on the other hand were sat back defending, quite well for the most part, but it's not how I want to see United play. Sancho looked lively and was pressing well, but our forwards didn't see much of the ball for most of the match. Sancho ended up giving United the lead with a well taken goal, but United gave away a penalty to allow Chelsea to draw level.
On balance, Chelsea fans will probably be wondering how they didn't win that. As a United fan, a draw is a very good result considering how we have been playing lately, but I do feel like we dropped 2 points giving away that penalty.
The commentators were suggesting that the team had been picked by Rangnick, but I don't see it. He never plays with a false 9, which we did today, and he is well known to favour fast, forward passing and taking shots. That wasn't how United played today. It will be interesting to see how we do set up when he does come in. Hopefully it'll be announced tonight or tomorrow, but according to the well placed sources, everything has been agreed, it's just all about the work permit and paperwork now.

The snow didn't start until about 11am, by lunch it still wasn't really a problem but by 1pm there was no way it was going to go ahead. Not much you can do about it, it was probably slightly worse in Burnley than here too. ❄️❄️
