Looks like #8 has more downforce and speed on the corners, while the #20 gains on the straights.

Shaping up to be a close final hour! Toyota pulling it out the bag for a potential win here if nothing goes wrong!

Buemi gave #7 an increased 10s gap over the #20 BMW, now I understand why. lol

I didn't think the #83 would have to stop again, let's see if the #36 can keep it behind.

3 laps to go. Absolutely nerve wracking. Everyone at the Toyota garage is locked in, for good reason.

There’s going to be another lap! Enough fuel?

Last lap

Those engines better be sipping as little fuel as possible.

De Vries is having none of it 😂

Was hoping for the BMW or Caddy to win, but no such luck. Maybe next year then.

:guilty:

GG Toyota.

Congrats to Inter Europol Racing And Corvette.

YES!!! Toyota wins again! This time against an incredibly stacked grid! Now they can finally put the ghost of 2016 behind them 💪🏁 fantastic job with the strategy, a well oiled machine throughout the race!

Yes boys! I wanted that one! Now come on Lewis!

Edit: and like people have said, they've won with proper competition. That's the bit that makes it sweet for me. Takes away 2016 from the memory I think.
100%! People can finally shut up about Toyota only having won in the past due to BoP or a lack of proper competition now!

Same sentiments, the doubters and haters can finally shut up 😆
