It was a great event with loads to see and do. It's certainly less busy than the 24, but that suited me as I don't like places being too busy. The weather scuppered most of what I wanted to do as it was way to hot for me to be going about in, but that's not the classic's fault.
There's loads of stuff to see with car clubs, stalls, access to paddocks etc.
It was great to see all the different cars "racing" but even with the cars split into races of different eras, their current performance means there isn't really all that much racing. The smaller grids also means there are quiet bits as the cars split up around the long track.
To sum up, go to see and hear (Never realised NASCAR sounded so epic!) the cars, not the racing.
Next years classic will be for cars from 1920-1970 and I'm interested more in that era than the 1975-2015 cars that were at this year's event, so I'm very much considering going back next year.
