I will say Sao Paolo is more of a challenge than other tracks, so we will see. I just hope Cadillac wins and dominates like last season

I have the feeling Toyota will stop before they hit the traffic for a second time.
Edit : no

Good racing in LMGT3.

Keeping the same tyres was a good strategy too as the gaps were still close. Cadillac though....

I'm waiting for this moment when the drone crashes into the Motul banner.

Pain & suffering, 'tis the Jota way. :/

I'm going to have to step away for a little over half an hour; I have a feeling I won't understand a thing when I get back. Everyone is everywhere. lol

WOW - caddy just took out a Lexus. Stevens said the lexus turned in on him. on board from the lexus didn't even see the caddy until it was too late.

racing accident ?

Thankfully, Caddy was able to recover from the disaster at the pits. Fingers crossed for the best, I'm rooting for them!

I've got the race on here on my iPad, and the Goodwood FOS on YouTube on my TV - I'll stick the Wimbledon Men's Singles Final on my laptop, and try to watch a bit of everything while I'm cooking dinner an hour from now... 😅
We need a Tennis-Thread 🎾

Feel for Team Jota. Mishap in the pits cost them a ton of time, but they still managed a podium finish. Gotta hand them major props for overcoming that to secure 3rd & 4th.

For those who didn't catch it, this is what happened.

Really sucks to see Cadillac miss out on a close race yet again. They are so fast almost every qualifying but just either get hit with bad luck or a bad strategy. I hope this is the season where they finally get a win on home soil at COTA next, they deserve a win at this point. Can't be too mad though with both cars finishing top 5.

BMW is really looking strong this season and I think with Toyota they are both the teams to beat. Aston has been showing some improvement this season for sure but man the hell is up with Peugeot? They can barely get even a top 15, such a shame because they are another underdog I want to see do better but they are dead in the water almost every race.

Imola wasn't the best track suited for them, and to make matters worse, #12 ended up taking a costly penalty. Expected them to come back stronger at Spa, but that turned out to be a rough day for them. Struggles with their tires degrading, yet another penalty, and one of them having to retire from the race.

Then once again snakebitten at Le Mans, and now the time lost at the pits today. The haven't been able to catch a break, and yet for the most part, Jota have managed to make the best of what have been awful sitations for them. It's a testament to the team and the hypercar itself.

Yeah im not too mad, even in the midst of all the woes this season big or small, they keep the racing close and competitive with the top dogs. It's not like they are Alpine or even Peugeot where one race they doing decent then the next they crash and burn like today. I do expect Cadillac to get one win before the seasons over though.

Final results

The #20 takes a 5s time penalty for the collision with the #50 Ferrari at the end of the race. They lost 2 positions (P8) to the benefit of #007 (P6) and #50 (P7).

We will likely see a duel between Toyota and Cadillac at COTA..

The #20 penalty seems harsh to me - Fuoco left no room and it was never going to work IMO.

Very good result for BMW otherwise though, no least as Vanthoor was unwell.
