I'm surprised Ferrari didnt do something similar instead of just riding around in dirty air.
They kind of tried this on the last pit stop, but we are now with a 56s lead for the #20 BMW over the #83 Ferrari. A bit late.

I agree with the penalty given to car #12 for overtaking off track, but what about all the others who did the same thing?

Poor Peugeot :-/

The TV production is something, not in a good way.

Good chance here KMag wipes out his team mate and Ferrari wins, Genesis in the points too.

Aston Martin have great straight line performance. They will do well at Le Mans.

I don't like what happened on the straight. He moved across the track opposite the racing line and nearly caused a massive accident. I'd black flag the car and take the driver racing licence away.

This race was a great and painful experience at the same time.

WRT couldn't have found a better place to secure their first overall victory.

First ~5 hourse were "boring" in a good way (1 safety car& 1 fcy) with a decent mix of cars in the top 10 over time, the last hour was quite chaotic.
The #17 made it finished the full race and on lead lap :D
I'm sad for peugeot, especially Malte, after the glorious qualifying and hyperpole it looked like finally had a decent chance.
Also sad for cadillac, #38 had early on problems and #12 messed up at some point with strategy after leading the race for good while.
But great/awesome for BMW to win in p1 and p2 :D (Without porsche I will root for the other German team :P)

The stream via the wec website started to show artifacts again and again 4hours into the stream and in the last hour I had to reload the website to get the stream going again (Chrome + Win 11 + cabled network)...

I think I’m going to stick with Eurosport, even though it’s double the price of WEC+. I get Roland Garros and Champions League as well then, plus I can actually watch it on a TV

My gaming PC is plugged into my 43" 4K TV so I get WEC + on the big screen.

Wow Le Mans is going to be a banger if Spa was anything to go by. I would be delighted if the Beemers win again but I know they'll be up against it with Peugeot, Toyota and maybe Aston Martin posing a serious challenge. Can't rule out Ferrari either. In fact I don't think you can rule out anybody on the day because one small slip could turn the race on it's head. That's what you want to see, right? As much as I enjoy F1, the WEC is absolutely the better series right now because of the diversity and level of competition. If only I was able to watch all the races live.

You won't have the same race as Spa, the BoP for Le Mans is specific to this race and directly related to homologation parameters.
We can hope but I don't think that will be the case.

BoP is specific to all tracks though...

Peugeot have put their Le Mans videos on Youtube. Qualifying goes playable on the 10th of June, Hyperbole goes playable on the 11th of June and race on the 13th of June. Bookmark now for those of you that don't have subscription to the biggest race of the year.
