24 Heures du Mans 2011 - 79th Grand Prix d'Endurance - June 11-12

[C-ZETA]

And in goes Marc Gene into the #7 Peugeot 908. Let's see how he can hold out.

Not as many cars dropping out this year.

Err...it's not nighttime yet!

[RACECAR]

I would like if you guys would instead take your GT5 talk here

[CarBastard]

Rocky into the pits as well. "...It's the, Eye of the Audi, it's the cream of the fight, Rising up to the talents of the Peugeots...!"

[F1 fan]

I wonder if PD will announce that the Nissan LMP2 car will appear in a future GT5 DLC.

Not a guarantee. They managed to include the top gear test track without any of the reasonably priced cars.

Know what this race needs? Rain. How's the weather predictions? Any chance of rain?

[Furinkazen]

10 am tomorrow light rain possible.

Cloudy, but not yet. Know what this race needs? Night, and that will come soon... 👍.

Link 3 didn't work for me, don't know why. Link 4 does ask you for a software after using the free bit, but it appears to be free and taken from Eurosport HD. Since Speed TV hasn't killed me off I'll wait 'til the ladies game is over, and if everything else fails I'll download the thingy for Link 4, though I gotta ask for permission first given that I'm using a borrowed laptop.

Davidson in the pits, he's out and in goes Marc Gene. Full Service.

Or try this one
http://stream.speedtv.com/corvette
not the one inside the vette, the second one, good quality

[LouTs337]

How many of you will be sitting here through the night?

+1, drinks (redbull... ) and foods/snacks are in house

Sunday morning and possibly to follow until afternoon... We also might have a foggy morning so this could give some problem to the drivers.

Yep, just watched the weather forecast and it might rain tomorrow morning 👍
The end of the race may be bumpy

Not until tomorrow, I believe.

They mentioned it may be on and off but not particularly heavy.

Will try later, thanks 👍. Last time I tried with Speed's stream, I could only get the Corvette one working. The hurry will come when Speed Latin-America transmission goes out .

Audi mechanics and replacement driver getting ready at the pit...

Marcel Fassler pits. Full Service. Lotterer went in. GO ANDRE!!!

[turini]

BTW, update on Lucas and the Signature Nissan, he's currently 9th.
However, his teammate is setting the fastest lap in class.. They are moving up the leaderboard!

[Furinkazen]

Just a little reminder for all new here, and again a stream

[hampus_dh]

Not for people getting passed by audis atleast My god, couldn´t they have brought stronger headlights?

EDIT: i need to quote people from here on.. post are being done all the time

[Submerged]

The Speed TV link (second one) actually works much better for me.

Much smoother and seems to be ok.

[CarBastard]

Marcel Fassler is saying they're running somewhat conservatively, they're saving the #2 car for having it in tip-top shape tomorrow morning. @Radio Le Mans

[hampus_dh]

Hankook stocks just plummeted

[Scalage]

Darn, Farnbacher with a puncture

[CarBastard]

Hankook stocks just plummeted

Indeed...that might be the reason #89 is the only car with Hankook in the whole grid. Those tyres were really Hankooked!

And #8, Nic Minassian goes into the pits. Wipe and Diesel only.

[ivoyared]

I'm pretty sure Pesca will win P1P through reliability, hoping they can get a Top 5 or podium finish overall though. Also hoping at least one AMR-One finishes.

And then hoping for either the JMW Ferrari (my fave GT team/Rob Bell my fave GT driver) or Westbrook Corvette (big fan of his).

Don't know if you all remember the game or not but everybody should watch this on the warm up lap to get you in the mood.

Wow, dude, I used to play this game for hours when I was younger! It was an awesome game.

I was watching the race here since the beginning. That McNish crash was sick.

[cuco33]

I was having troubles finding a stream but no biggy as f1 quali was on. 24LM will be on speed in a few =

That Audi crash earlier on...

Probably
No but i think Hankook supplies tires for DTM so i think they are a proven tire maker

[hampus_dh]

BMW up in the lead and with as many pit stops as the Vette ?!

EDIT: nevermind, the bloody timing is SLOW.

Try Speed.com, there are two on that site one for Corvette only and another one for full race coverage.

[hampus_dh]

Wow what a beauty the 908 Hybrid was. Very cool car!

[Mt. Lynx]

Ouch! Those Audi headlights are really... bright! Daylight on wheels!

[Furinkazen]

OAK still going...

You mind editing your first post instead of double posting, bud? Just a friendly reminder.
