I'm in!! Nissan R92CP. The HP is 924 (I think thats stock) and the mileage is 3,029.1 miles
FIDO69Rule suggestion: Submissions should include how many laps you personally completed (not B-spec'd).
FID069.. And as an added challenge, maybe you could add a class of racers that want to do a real sim race and must take their turns at the wheel. Since there is a three driver maximum IRL, you must a). drive a minimum of 8hrs total, b). have a break of no more than 6 consecutive hrs.
KyuI gotta do this. (this is like the collest thing ever!)
Im gonna use the Auto Union V16 from the 30's
I'll let you know what the HP on that thing is later (when i find out)
BTW when does the race start U.S. pacific time?
R390GT1Im definitley in, when does it start? My car is a Minolta toyota 88C-V
in central time zone, what time is 15:00? and you forgot the Peugeot 905, Honda NSX-R Race Car, Nissan GT-R LM Race Car, Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car, Mazda RX-8 LM Race Car, Nissan 350Z LM Race Car, Sauber Mercedes C9, and the Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car.Jpec07Ok, I just recently had this crazy idea involving the endurance races that GT4 provides. This won't really be a race of sorts, more like a collaboration of efforts. The 24 Hours of LeMans is the single biggest event in automotive racing, and this time around Polyphony was kind enough to include two versions of that race in our new game. My idea was to coordinate a massive running of the race in GT4 with the running of the actual race in real life. It is a couple months away, but I think it would be a good idea to try and get as many people running the 24 Hours of LeMans as possible. Here are the facts I've found:
The real race starts at 15:00 Greenwich Standard Time.
The real race is on June 18-19, 2005.
There are only 50 cars allowed in the real race.
Naturally the real-life date and time will be the date and time we start our race, but I won't be limiting the number of participants at all (the more the merrier). There are a few rules, though, and they are important to follow to ensure that we keep the collaboration (finishing our race with the pros driving on the TV in the other room sounds like it might be pretty cool).
- B-Spec Mode; no acceleration allowed. Granted you'll be allowed to use B-Spec Mode and get some sleep while GT4 does your work for you, but you're not allowed to use the acceleration that it provides.
- To sign up, just post in the thread. All I need is who you are, the car you'll be running, and that car's horsepower and mileage. These factors are important statistics for the leaderboard I intend to construct.
- After the race is over, post how many laps you finished with. Any entries submitted before 3:00 PM Greenwich Time will not be accepted.
- 24 Hours of LaSarthe I will be the course raced. This is because it will be the track they're racing in real life, not to mention it makes you less liable to fall asleep (as there's more to it than a massive back stretch).
- All cars being driven will be on stock horsepower. This means that you aren't allowed to add any HP-boosting tunings aside from the virgin oil change. You may still get parts and upgrades that don't have an affect on horsepower, including weight reduction. If you need a list of the parts you're not allowed to equip, just ask me (if your car has a part that cannot be removed like the Port Polish, use a different car).
- Enjoy it. GT4 is a game designed to be raced and had fun with. Don't race this because you feel obligated to try and beat everyone or because you justhave to win.
So the winners will be determined by the people who had run the most laps in the 24-hour period of the race. If you'd like to sign up, just post.

CAR DIVISIONS - note that the names aren't right, but then again they don't run JGTC cars in the actual race. If I missed anything, just PM me and I'll include it.

RACECARin central time zone, what time is 15:00?
thanks! I never do get military time so this helps alot.SimRaceDriverOne merely needs to subtract 12 hours when dealing with military time.
Hence, 15:00 (15-Hundred Hours) would be 3:00pm local time in France...
which then translates to 8am local time in Dallas, TX.
Click here for further reference...or look at the attachment...
Left Side = Time in France | Right Side = Your Time in TX
Hope this helps?
deimosI'll be running the BMW 320i Touring Car I reckon
The only problem is that the race is at 4:00pm local time in FranceSimRaceDriverOne merely needs to subtract 12 hours when dealing with military time.
