The race starts at 1600 local time, so that makes it 1200 EST right?

Was mechanical damage on? Glad he's ok.

Why would he be running with mechanical damage enabled? This isn't a demolition derby we're talking about. Cars aren't supposed to be banged up in racing. At least, that's what every GT fanboy that ever defended GT for not having damage has always argued.

He's a total Ringnut, he even went to the extend and said that if he, as he drove over the Nordschleife with the BMW F1 car, he'd totally would've been able to come close/beat the lap record of Bellof, if they would've geared the car higher.
But when you listen to him in interviews........ :) But we'll see ;)

Mechanical damage was included in GT5 and I'm pretty sure it will be added to GT6 in a future update. Personally if I want to see beat up cars I visit the local McDonalds at 1 am on Saturday morning. Things people do to their 316 Beamers here (5 previous owners usually, each with their own views on "cool") is unbelievable.

No one should ever say such a thing. That record is set in stone.

Especially when you think about the track at those time itself, the weather/track conditions, the environment, the car, the risk at that time and and and...

The GTR GT3 does have a 3.8 V6 twin-turbo. Making 550ps not bad for a car made in Daventry. I've included a spec sheet in the attachments. i beleive this engine is capable of around 1000bhp+ bearing in mind the ronin and Alpha 12 R35s.

Too bad I'm going to miss the start, stuck at work for a good while. Then again, that at least gives me time to decide who to Support

I'll probably have to go with one of the SLS GT3s, if only because that V8 sounds utterly glorious.

Well it has 550 as a maximum. What made you think 700 was on the cards? (And let alone BOP'd?)

What on earth does a tuned car have to do with a JRM built race car? They do have to stick to rules, you know. And still, the only race cars kicking out 700hp currently are NSCS, LMP1-H and F1.

I'm going senile and I thought because I have a 900bhp+ gt3 Gtr in GT6 maybe it would be like that with a bit less power the moral of the story is don't rely on gt6 for factual information.

From the official specs it should have 550+. BoP of the 24h regulates it to a max. of 585Bhp (roller dynameter testbench) with a min. weight of 1335kg.

After a day of Le Mans we have another exciting racing weekend. So many races to see woohoo. :D

Few quick question everyone. Whats the current time at Nürburgring? What time is the start? Please answer soon. Thanks.

Race starts in 2h23min

Edit: current time at the ring 1:40p.m. / race start at 4p.m.

Good luck - keep pushing!

Thanks, I hope I make it in time. Visiting my girlfriends grandparents for the mid-summers night. Only one hour drive to home but I'm still bit scared I won't make it to the start. So in 8 minutes, it will be exactly two hours to the start.

Correct. Btw. - shortest night in the year - not too bad for the 24h on the ring :)

The night might be short, but the day's pretty dark. At least around here. Very cloudy and way too cold.

I wonder how Nick and Jann are feeling 2 24h endurance races in the space of a week.
