Right, but this is TV we're talking about. With any toxin, there is a lethal concentration, and if you stay below that, you're fine. One molecule of nerve gas will not kill you. Two will not kill you. Three will not kill you....Somewhere you reach the threshold, and then die. I'm looking up information about VX nerve gas, because now I'm curious :)
 
Since you mentioned reading up on VX nerve gas, I've looked at a couple of website and each one of them states very, very little of the gas needs to be inhaled to be deadly.
 
One single canister contains enough VX to kill thousands of people. So, in a fairly "small" building like the CTU headquaters, the concentration of gas must have been very high, comparing the amount of VX in the air with the fraction needed to kill somebody.
The point I'm trying to make is that there was so much VX in the air that opening a door of a small room twice means instant death. Overall, it may only have been a little bit, but considering the high concentration of VX outside the room, it was enough to kill those guys immediately, cause you only need a tiny little bit to be effective.
Personally, I don't think this was too unrealistic.

Just how many main characters are going to get killed off in this series, I really want the next episode to start with medics rushing in and saving Tony but I know that's not going to happen. He's been the best character in any episodes it's not been Jack.

But it's damn entertaining and the last scene between Tony and Jack was one of the best acted I've seen in 24, ever. At least he got offed by a decent foe, the guy that trained Jack.
 
It was good entertainment, but I did see it coming from Robocop.
 
Meh, last nights episode was slow and boring compared to last weeks. But I can't believe Audrey would have anything to do with the terrorists!
 
I didn't think last night's episode was boring, though I do agree it did get a touch slow at times. I thought the episode was pretty good, but not up to the quality of some of the others this season. The ending with Audrey being involved was a definite huge shock. That definitely came out of nowhere.
 
I thought it was a great break in pace, give us all time for a breather, especially after what happened to Edgar, Lynn and Tony, then right near the end, bam here we go again.

But no, I think somethings amiss with what Carla (I think that was her name, but damn she's hot, no wonder that German agent didn't wantto end his operation) said about Audrey too, if Jack takes her on like any other suspect he's lost her for good, he has to be careful how he tackles this.

Hey imagine Carla and Mandy hooking up for a sexy evil duo.
 
Well looking at the scenes for next episodes he doesn't tackle the problem so subtly. ;)

Her name's Collette Stenger. I wonder if she's the one Henderson called after his attempt on Jack's life a few hours ago...

Yeah, I'm also wondering how Jack is going to handle Audrey next week. Knowing Jack, he'll just do what he has to. Plus, he still has that MILF waiting back home. 👍

What the hell does Wayne Palmer know? Who wants him dead? And it has already been 2 hours, why hasn't Jack killed anyone yet? So many questions!!
 
Yes, the last episode left a lot of questions up in the air. It just means next weeks episode is going to be another good one.
 
Not many questions answered tonight, lot's of action though. Good to see Aeron getting a bigger role this season, he's been a good character who's been given only minor roels in other seasons. Wayne looks like he's safe, at lesat for a little while but now Jack's in trouble... Again.
 
It was a very good episode last night. Agent Pierce (Aaron) has been dominating people lately.
 
Yeah, he can open a can of whoppass when he want's to.
 
It is going to be so awesome when Jack gets his hands on Henderson.

By the way, anyone know where the hell Wayne Palmer got that assault rifle? I'll have to watch the episode again and see.
 
He must've killed one of the people who were attacking him and then took it, because he didn't get it out of his Benz. At least, this seems somewhat plausible, as I don't remember the episode showing where he got it.
 
Um that new girl, when buchanan brushed his hand on her shoulder. She's freaking paranoid.... :odd:
 
Yes, she is very paranoid. I think she has some real problems. No wonder the computer guy was so pissed to see her there at CTU. But I will say, that the computer guy does come off as somewhat of a shady character, though not in the evil conspiring against CTU kind of way. Instead, he comes off being a little bit of a jerk.
 
So all along, Logan wasn't a bumbling retard, but an evil genius? Sorry, Fox, but that's pretty much a cop-out.
 
I pretty much thought it was the Vice President the entire time for today's episode, as I could never see Logan doing anything at all like this, especially considering how much of an idiot he came off as. Instead though, he has been the mastermind behind it all. So I don't think its much of a copout.
 
It's certainly a twist, but with the way they've built up Logan's character during the last two seasons, do you think Logan is capable of this? It's like Barry Bonds announcing that he's actually a woman--it just doesn't make sense.
 
I can see it, he was smart enough to have become the vice president of Keeler, he only started to seem weak when he became the president. What I am interested in is if this could tie in with the attack on Keeler. Think about it, he's been an idiot, but he's never been dumb, not if you knew then what you know now.

Another explanation, probably a far more plausable one is that rather than that last scene making Logan guilty, it's made Henderson innocent, whatever they are doing they both believe it's for the greater good and involves a plan that simply can't afford to have anyone else in on at this point in time.
 
I still say that the show's writers took the easy way out.

Whatever, I'm still on the edge of my seat :) And now I'm into Prison Break as well. Two hours of sheer suspense; only a nice cold beer can cut the tension :drool:

I remember Jack saying this or something to that effect a couple of times about Henderson. I'm fascinated as hell now, what could they be planning?

In related news, Jack just killed his 24th person this season. :cheers: :cheers:
 
I agree on the fascination. I really am wondering what Robocop and the President could be planning. As it is right now, I have no real idea what they are going to throw out there.
 
As disappointed as I was with the whole Logan twist, tonight's episode was damn good 👍

Robocop geniunely scares me. Every time he pops on screen, I cringe. Something tells me that he could take 20 bullets and keep right on walking.
 
Well he is Robocop, so of course he could take 20 bullets and keep on walking. :lol: I mean seriously, we are talking about Robocop here, not just any normal Joe Blow terrorists and/or person. :lol: On a more serious note though, Robocop does come off as being very evil. I really cannot wait to find out what his motives are behind everything.

Logan sure is a scumbag . . . he seems much more in charge of things than he previously led us to believe.

I wished I had taped this episode, as I missed a bunch of little things throughout. :sigh: Oh well . . . next week will bring me back up to speed. 👍
 
Well it turns out the ultimate plan from Logan was to make the US safer, quite how the whole thing should have panned out is still in the dark but that was a good episode. I could see that bank manager getting taken out from a mile away, I keep getting a sigh of relief though every episode Wayne stays alive.
 
I havent read the last few posts, cause in England we are a few weeks behind & I WILL NOT have things spoilt. Like i saw the end of season 3 in "The Sun" (the bit with chase & an Axe) & it completely p***** me off.

We have just had Edgar snuff it, what an episode! It was clever, bring back Kim so that we are distracted by her blondeness & then kill off a main character (one of the best). Poor Chloe. Its up there joint with the Chappelle bit in season 3.

Anyone notice a pattern with Kim though??? When she's around main characters tend to die. When she isnt, (season 4) they dont! Weird!

My thoughts on Season 5 so far are. Miles better than seasons 3 & 4. On a par with 2. But not as good as 1. Also, they seemed determind for you to not get stuck with the same bad guy for more than 2 or 3 episodes. Although they might have stopped that now.

Anyway, goodbye Edgar, you shall be missed.
