So about 24, Does anyone else think that Gregory Itzin does a fantastic job playing Logan?

Oh and Graem trying to kill his dad was part of the setup, it was done to make his dad seem no part of the plot.
 
Whoo – I finished watching the last episode about 10 minutes ago, and I’m still reeling.

AAAAHHHHHH, insane episode, insane episode! I can just imagine everybody on the west coast going “WHAT?!” at the same time.
 
I'm still curious how they plan to use the nuclear plant to destroy "half of California." I'm sure the writers heavily researched the mechanics of both nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons to create a highly-plausible scenario.

Also, I think we've had enough rogue presidents. It makes no sense whatsoever that Palmer has gone insane, and now wants to launch a strike against that ever-ambiguous Middle Eastern country. The writers are getting lazy. A "twist" should be well-thought-out, not simply "lets make the hero into a villain after said hero has taken numerous steps to derail his own evil plan."
 
I have to admit that I was confused on that issue as well. I had thought that Palmer was outrageously against the use of the bomb, and yet we're nuking this mysterious nation? The preview clip showed that we were negotiating with that nations foreign minister, presumably to somehow stop the detonation of the missile before it reaches the nation, but it is hard to tell what the heck is going on...

...And is it just me, or was the ass-kicking of Assad rather funny? Chances are, if men like Osama or al-Zwahiri showed up in some bar in LA, a few punches and a few kicks would be the least of their worries...
 
You mean Fayed? (Assad died in the assassination attempt). I'm not sure; with Fayed in custody and Gradenko presumably dead, it seems like the plot can be wrapped up. However, with 8 hours to go, I smell another "it was all just a big diversion" cop-out coming up.
 
You could tell from the preview that Fayed will probably escape, because some of his men appeared to purposely ram the car he and Jack were in.
 
Fayed will probably escape, either that or another bad guy above him will show up. Perhaps the twist will be that Fayed doesn't escape and his second in command simply takes over and puts his own plans for the bombs into action. Anyone else think that the missile Palmer launched is a dummy or is that just me?
 
Yeah, me and my brother both believe Palmer launched the missiles for a reason other than attacking the Middle East. Not sure what at yet.

I think I'm an episode behind (Palmer's still in an induced coma), but...


We haven't seen anything from any of Graeme's co-conspirators from Day 5 (the "Bluetooth Gang") yet...
 
Ooops, I meant Fayed. I've been trying to keep-up with the show as much as possible, but work tends to get out after the show starts, so I usually only end up seeing the second half...

Its a reasonable assumption, and it could be utilized as some kind of crazy tool to find out if Fayed is somehow connected with these governments in the Middle East. We'll see I suppose...

Anyway, in Day 5, Gray was one of three (four?) guys sat around in a room controlling events, wearing Bluetooth earpieces. We haven't seen anything from the other two (three?) guys yet...
 
Well remembered, Jacks dad is still out there somewhere. Imo we won't have seen the last of him. Remember the whole plot about the company is still there, and thoes guys with Gray in season 5 presumably work for or are connected with the company.
 
Did anyone else noticce the pivotal change in tonight's episode?

They switched from using Ford Explorers to Toyota Tundras. Toyota is taking over the world.
 
I also noticed that very quickly in the scene in the tunnel. Before that I was paying attention to the episode, but not especially close attention.

It was a very good episode tonight. Jack kicked some major terrorist butts.

Hanging a terrorist with a hoist has to be the manliest thing Jack Bauer has ever done.

And now he's pissed...

Doyle's "Damn Jack" when he see's all the bodies and Fayed dangling pretty much sums up this episode. What a twist at the end though, as soon as I heared that voice theories started buzzing in my head. There's so many places the final 7 episodes can go from here, it's great.
 
Up until this episode, the season had been pretty slow for the most part. There has been bits and spurts of action, but nothing constant. This episode definitely changed that and the outcome of the following episodes could be a multitude of things. I have no real idea what is going to happen next at this point. 👍

Doyle's "Damn Jack" and the look on his face were just great! 👍 I had a sense of Doyle thinking to himself, "Damn Jack Bauer is one very bad dude (except with a couple choice words not acceptable to the AUP)".

And the whole Buchanan getting fired thing is completely bogus, but it is true that the American media and a good portion of people would need someone to blame the whole thing on. How else is CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc. going to fill their day with news? I do not see why someone always has to be blamed, especially when the actions of a terrorist are not something you can control.

Like how the Mainstream Media blames everything on the Bush administration and not the terrorists themselves?

With Jack's and Chloe's relationships on the rocks, maybe they should get together? I feel it, I know it.
 
I do not really know what the mainstream media does right now, as I do not watch the news or even keep up with the news because I get tired of constant talking about the same thing over and over and over and over, well that and some of the general negativity.
 
There is no time for sex in 24. It moves way too fast. Time will tell.

Episode 1 in season 1 had a scene where Kim's friend was having sex with one of the two kidnappers.
