450PP French Championship

I find it weird that everyone thinks the Hommel is a bit loose and hard to control. I don't find it nearly as tricky as a ford lm test on SS. Just have to find the perfect setup, cause at first it was wild, no I got it dialed in with minimal spin.

Every course in this series was a breeze, except for Eifel. No matter what I do, what car I drive, I cant get better than 2nd and it irks me cause I can see the dude in his rear view mirror each time.

Yeah, I tried the Hommel Berlinette aswell, but I think it's a risky car to drive, because you can spin out really hard with this car, it's like driving on iceskates. I used a Peugeot 206 Rally car for this Seasonal, the only race that was a challenge was the Tokyo stage.

After hrs of trying eifel in the french series, her is how i won:

Clio renault sport trophy race car:

Take off all of the aero dynamics and you can get up to 249 horsepower

Tranny i set to 137 mph
LSD: 23/41/24
camber f 1.0 r 0.9
toe: f 0.00 r 0.20
ride height: -40 -40
spring rate: 8.0 8.5
ext: 5 4
compression: 5 4
anti roll: 5 4

i was in first place by the 3rd lap ....easily

I used the berlinetta on the first race and the A110 on the second. Haven't gotten around to finishing this seasonal yet.

Ok, I admit that I'm not the most dedicated driver - I've had the game for nearly 2 years now and am only at A level 35.5 and I only own around 220 cars or so, but at that I can generally get through these seasonals in short order (max effort around 4-6 hours). I finally finished this seasonal last night after something like 30 hours of driving and car changes and tuning..MAN WAS IT FUN!!! I used the A110 on the first race, the Hommel on the next 2 and a 207 detuned to 449PP on the Eiffel circuit (that was the hardest of them all). Nice prize for finishing all gold, too.

I used a slightly detuned Citroen Xsara Rally car. No tuning required, just drop the engine power slightly and enjoy the easy win. I had no trouble, even with the 110 in the lineup.

Won the first four races with a fully tuned 207, the engine detuned to 450pp.

Cannot win the blasted Eiffel Kart circuit. Anyone suggest an easier car???

Did the job with a Renault Sport Clio Trophy Race Car '00.
👍

Im also struggling with that eiffel kart track. Oposition just gets too much head start. I only get maybe 3 hours a week to play due to family commitments and wasted so much time on that race.
Frustrating!!!

Update: I tried out the WRC Peugeot 206, fully tuned and then engine restricted to the minimum PP rating. Managed to get to 1st by the beginning of the 4th lap, easy win in the end:)

I always get the alpine out front, is there a trick to not getting that one and getting a different car as the leader?

If you select the race, then quit when it finishes loading it should bring you back to the selection menu. Re-do this until you get opponents you like (it should only take 4 times max). Good luck, easy seasonal with good driver/car and epic prize :)

Won all the races except the blasted Eiffel Kart Track. I used the Lutecia Renault and it was a breeze. Just cant do better then 2nd in Eiffel. After having read the posts here I will try the 206 or recycle. Any other car I could use except the 206? I don't have the Xsara rally Car.

I'm using a 207 GTI tuned to 445PP and I can get second easy on all tracks.

I won Suzuka 1st place with a 6 second lead, but for the life of me I just can't catch up with nr.1 on the other stages because it's the dreaded Alpina every ****ing time.

Reloading doesn't work.

I'll give this a go, thanks. :)

Just got 1,893,820 (1,100,320pda) on Suzuka with the Lutecia Renauly Sport Trophy Race Car (398pp). Took the lead at the beginning of lap 3

I manage to finish this event using a Lutecia Renault Sport Trophy V6 24V Race Car '00 . I played with everything off only abs 1 and i upgraded the fully custom transmission to adept the final gear for every race .

Finally, after teeth grinding sessions I managed to ace all races with a 445PP 207 GTI. Just bolted on some exhaust and stuff, stage 2 weight reduction etc.

The only thing I did, was drive like a frigging maniac. I scared myself at some points thinking "this is about to go HORRIBLY wrong" and took some corners looking with 1 eye and my head slightly turned away from the screen.

Some were last lap-last corner overtakes, but I don't care. :)

On to the 600PP SuperGT for me!

My experience on this event:

Peugot 205 Rally Car -> 200kg balast and power limit about 60%..

Easy to drive and no worries, also good for gaining money..

PP around 440..

Another one that i tried is Renault Sport Trophy also PP 440 and this handles pretty well i must say..

Even better than peugot..

Tracks: Deep Forrest and Suzuka

Tuning: just balast and power adjustment to satisfy the 450pp criteria..

Will try something more challenging when i earn all gold trophies..

I just kept refreshing until the race was lead by a Renault Megane.
Then I did the Eiffel race in a Clio Renault V6 24V '00
