sorry about the bump trackstar

Considering the room only has a max of 6 drivers, you won't have many more.... :)

I was thinking the same thing.

Real room opening up soon?

That was awesome, I do have to say though I spend most of my GT5 time on the top gear test track lol :) I am the stig!!

I didnt set up the room. It was a spot race room, but since it happened to be set up to 450PP, I pimped it here. Next time I'll make sure the host has a room open for 10+ drivers. It was good racing though.

The S2000 was fun, but needs some work. My suspension was very sloppy. I kept tightening it up but I never got comfortable in it.

I think Osprey won the first race, but it was a random grid start and didn't really give everyone a fair shot at winning. By the time I got past Cenk I was already 6 seconds behind. Without anyone to draft I ended up 8 seconds back by the end. Others behind me got stuck in a cluster and were 10+ seconds behind before we entered the north loop.

I forget who won the 2nd race, 8 laps at GP/F.

After that, I did some practice for the SuperGT series.

I won by .040 That was a nice race against osprey!!(The replay is awesome btw)

I couln't join the gt500 :(

Did you send a FrRq to lucky? It was in his lobby.

Video of my SuperGT race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve0XtvV-vHY
Lucky was slower out of the draft but when he bump drafted me, we could both pull away from the pack.

So I ran a offline practice lap about 6pm last night, used some sports mediums to simulate for the traction difference from offline to online. And I forgot them on the car :ouch: Still finished 5th with a spin right before the last straight. Seems like I would have been able to keep up with Osprey, Nick & Chuyler if I had the softs.

I realized it when I was off like 2 secs at GP/F during practice. Got soooo mad to myself 👎 It was a fun 8 lap battle despite many mistakes, but still finished 4th or 5th..

I will probably join you guys on sunday or monday.. taking 2 days off, feel like I'm beat up and can't focus..

I looked at the replay after and counted 7 or 8 lead changes on 1 lap between you and I and nobody left in tears. who says there's no passing on nurb?

maybe i can figger out how to record the replay.

We keep doing races like that lately...lol :D

Bowtie told you that before the race started. It explains why you were holding me up...but you were doing pretty good on the mediums. Anyone wanna share their tune? Mine was garbage. Not sure I got the power/weight balance right. I was losing almost a second to the leaders per lap at GP/F and I was running pretty clean too.

as for the gp/f race, after i blew a corner on lap 1 and fell to last place, i managed to claw my way back to the leaders. once i got into 2nd, i was a little dissapointed that the two guys behind me would not bump draft, we could have easily caught the leader but instead went for the pass every time there was room to draft me and the ensuing battle slowed us down even more - 2nd place is the 1st loser lol. ohh well.

Unless you were missing drivers on the track (or ran a second race at GP/F), you didn't place 2nd. I was 3rd behind Luxy and iForce and you were a good 4 seconds behind me.

i didnt see luxy or iforce all night. so there ya go we wouldve caught huyler.

Odd. I've got my hard-wired connection now so no one can blame me for their bad connections. 15mbs down, 4mbs up (comcast broadband).

i'm hardwired too w/similar specs. the not appearing on track issue has been better of late i've noticed but it still rears its ugly head.

Oh waow, he should have said that over the mic when my headphones were off.. I was thinking why would my setup be so oversteery the whole lap lol

I was at 1090kg/259hp (lost 1hp from wednesday night). 8.8kg/8.3kg with 7/6 dampening. Top speed at 259km/h (hitting 245/250: 150mph), which was spot on for the long straight.

I was using some power reduction so I could get max power at a lower rpm. High rpm turbo, manifolds, ecu. I think I had you on straight line speed...but cornering was another story.

I won the GP/F race beating Luxy by 3 sec.We were 1-2 in qualifying and within .06 seconds and ran the first 4 laps bumper to bumper.I think it was lap 5 when we approached turn 1 i took the outside line and Luxy went in tight but lost the rear on exit and spun right in front of me.He seemed to recover pretty quickly but the draft was broken and i decide to run safe the last few laps to maintain the gap.

That was my only race of the night,i dont Nord...

iforce, pick a car and track for next week. Must be tunable to 450pp (with mods, or power reduction).

The first four laps were great fun :D We swapped the lead a couple of times, nice and clean. Then I looped it :ouch: It was the only mistake I made, but once you broke the draft I couldn't close the gap...

I was actually pretty surprised to take pole, I'm not that familiar with GP/F, but I like it a lot better now :)

My S2000 has 301hp / 1390kg, using the midrange turbo (no aero parts). I'll post my suspension later when I'm at my PS3. I'm pretty happy with my tune, but the back end breaks loose too easily under braking into mid-speed corners (like the hairpin at GP/F).

Yeah i was trying to bump draft you so we could build a gap.I commented last night that BTK must have forgotten what track he was on since he went flying off at turn 1 but he had some help.Osprey hit him at 118 mph and sent him flying off the track. On my replay it shows 13 starters in the race.Osprey started 6th behind Nic and ahead on chuyler1.

Does it have to be a premium?

Are you sure about that 1390kg?I ran my old s2000 (very old tune) for the first race...302hp/1316 Kg.

@Iforce : Yes premium.

Premium or available in the OCD...otherwise everyone might not have access to it.

Might have been 1290-1300? I kept bumping up the weight as the engine broke in.

now I dont know if I should keep my cars at their current weights, seems like most of you have major HP over my setups :nervous:
