I think I may actually have one of the 350GT Sedans tuned.

I think I have a Taurus and a Carlton laying around, but I don' think they are tuned.

p.s.: I also found some tunes for the IS-F (no idea where these come on PP, but cars limited down to 450 PP by a little bit are faster than those tuned up to 450PP):

We started with FR 4 Doors, but no one really had any, so we went open.

I got on late. Did some practice for my GT500 race and then found a room where they were doing FGT Indy races. That was fun, and I got some help with my oval track tune. However, its not something i'd want to do all the time. Its more about not crashing and being in the right spot on the last turn.

After that I found a 500pp SS room. I added a few parts to my RUF BTR and gave it a shot. Placed 5th at Tsukuba...no way I was going to keep up with some of the cars up front. Placed 2nd at Indy Road course. No surprise that an NSX won He was running 3-4 seconds quicker per lap. I ran a decent race and had enough power to hold back a Ferrari in 3rd. By the end he was watching me drift around most of the corners.
 
Oval track tune? That's cake, you can send it too me if you'd like. Atleast you won't crash.
 
well i never spent any time on one...i just grabbed the FGT and jumped into their 10 lap races. I could stay on the track, but i was understeering out of the corners and lifting off. turns out 0 camber, 0 toe, and a tall ride height works best.
 
I got a great tune for FGT's at Indy. Came from the tuning forum. No understeer at all, and was great on tires. I belive the garage is Oval Tunery or something. Lead the pack about 70% of the race but lost due to GT5's ridiculous draft effect.
 
Yeah, i've got someone i met outside of this club on the forum who's been trying to convince me to do the trial of iracing. i'm not really up for paying $8-12/mo for something I do in GT5 for free...but it would be nice to race without lag against drivers that are serious about racing. No GT5 draft, no GT5 whacky tuning, no GT5 unrealistic tire model.
 
Ya, I'm thinking about rFactor because of iRacing's price. I've also been getting into the F1 games. I have F1 2010 and getting 2011 today hopefully:)
 
I find rFactor a little too intimidating...plus my computer sucks big 'ol balls.

It's a steep learning curve, but i haven't tried the new big update to iRacing. They have aids now to help you transition. It's also nice racing in official races that affect your licence and where you can compete. Keeps the random crashers from just joining your room to ruin everyone's race.

I don't know...I did a backup a few days earlier so I did not lost my game progress....but it looks like the replays/pics/tracks/jeff gordon suit are not part of (Save data)->what we usually backup... but in (game data)->where the updates pile up.I would better like losing my game progress than my 700+replay(good fight,first race ever,race won by 0.001/0.000,full lap drift,personnal records......)+all my 200 photos(your first car,first photo....)+all the tracks.Now I can't see half of my garage 👍.I think if you want to keep all your stuff you need to export them to the XMB menu one by one(not sure about one by one).
For me that's a big fail from pd...in the previous GT when you delete/lose your game you still have your replays/photos 👍

At least you still have your cars. You should wright your tunes down for important/fast cars. You can have my Gordon suit if you want...I don't even use it :lol: About the garage, unfortunately you'll have to go one by one and create a new thumbnail.

You can send replays??? Unfortunately, I don't have many 450pp races execpt the one time we did spec racing. I have some replays with GT Academy Finalists though...they are godly fast.
 
Yeah the spec racing was fun, almost best one of the finalists!

I'll be running open 450pp in chuyler's lounge at 8:00 CST.
 
Ya, if you think he was fast, you need to see Forcednduckshn. He pulled away from a GT Academy finalist and got some time between them.
