It was up for me. I got on around 9:30 and hosted some open 450 racing. I ran a 350z with virtually no tuning for 2 races and won with it. Not a bad car. RX-8 is fast as usual. To challenge myself I tried the '00 Camaro but it didn't have enough power to keep up with the other cars on the track. Last race I ran a '90 RX-7. Haven't driven that one since our days of running RS tires. A reset the suspension and managed a 2nd place but it needs some straight line speed to be a regular 450 contender.

I tried a couple races last night and was driving like junk so I left. I like my integra at 450, just wasnt focused enough I suppose.

Another GT-R in the game. Oh boy.

Its the same GTR Euro got the car first now US gets it.

If you don't like the GTR(die cast from the collector's edition) ,at least its a gt academy style time trial...I wonder how much I improved since the 370z GTA??

The wording seemed to indicate you could enter the TT with your own GTR. If that isn't true, and everyone has to run the stock car, I'll definitely give it a try. The last one like that was at TGTT and with all the cheaters after the first week, I never bothered to put down a fast time. A week later when they fixed the track I lost interest.

Really, do we need another frikin' GT-R ?

Its the Same GTR academy "Special", Euro got the car first, now US gets it.

I'll just quote myself. It's free and doesn't require additional precious HDD space. If you don't want it, do not participate in the time trial.

finally, that skyline shaped hole in my garage will be filled....with ANOTHER skyliine hahahahha

Anyone want to have a one model night with Skylines and see if Kaz shows up ?

All model years of Skylines.

Well this is the 450 Tuners Club so...

Really there are a ton of Skylines from the early '60s to present day.

I know that, just trying to find a way to get the 09 in... :) but if u raised the pp, ud add only one or two skylines but knock out most of the old ones, so to answer your question, yes apples are delicious

+ 200kg and run the motor @ 50%

@K_riens which time trial?

Nicktune
@K_riens which time trial?

I just wanted to see your times on time trials when you click the "Friend's Time" box on the leaderboards.

I did the Time trials but I mostly spent time on the drift trials...
Nascar on road course is really fun!!

I just raced the NASCAR just to beat it real quick. I hardly ever attempt the 345 non-race car, because they always use the LM street cars for it and it takes the fun out. How about some fiat 500 time trials for once PD?

In reference to how Doc obtained the required plutonium:

...From a group of Libyan nationalists. They wanted me to build them a bomb, so I took their plutonium and in turn, gave them a shiny bomb-casing full of used pinball machine parts! Come on! Let's get you a radiation suit. We must prepare to reload.

If that doesnt make you amped for some racing...what will?

Found a shuffle room tonight that was a blast. A few bad drivers but with 12+ drivers in every race and boost on low you could fight back from a few bumps. I placed high all night but my favorite race was on Nurburgring. Some a-hole in a truck punted me early in the race. I fought back through the reckless drivers to within drafting distance on the final straight. I got past him no problem and was in first entering the final chicane when he nosed in and pushed me off the track. I re-entered the track on his rear quarter panel. He tried to cross in front of me and I pulled the wheel hard and spun him around. It was brilliant. Text book pit maneuver! Video uploading.

Video...

Text book pit maneuver!
Well done!Smooth and precise!Luckily the back of the truck cleared the wall. You improved your last section...👍

Yes, I worked carefully on it the other night for Nurb night. I'm holding back a little more and would have nailed it in that video if it weren't for the truck side swiping me.

It's Sunday, how about some clean shuffle tonight? 300-450 shuffle range, and just switch it up.

Did you get my message for that last section?(photos)

Found a few great rooms last night with variable PP racing. My cars that are good at 450PP are great at 475 and 500PP but I'm finding that if you win a couple races by a wide margin you're mysteriously disconnected.

After racing with this group on DFR, GVE-R, Rome Reverse...running against standard online competition there is unfulfilling. On DFR for example, in my FF volvo S60, I beat out a room filled with Elises, NSXs concepts, and tuner integra/civic by 8 seconds over a 4 lap race. Is this group just that much more competitive or do we race tracks that most lobbies shy away from and we're just better prepares?

(Note: We were on racing soft tires, so the MR handling advantage was lessened, but really 2 seconds a lap with draft is too much)

There is usually a good reason(s) why they pick these cars...maybe they are poor drivers or tuners...

Off topic :The toyota 7 is a nice drift car (if you don't have a speed 12)...I didn't have anything else to drift on my 2nd account!(currently sitting #147 with the 7)

I think you guys are that much better.
I go into other rooms and usually win. I race with you all and usually mid pack.

That's a hell of a compliment.
