This is just my kind of race!
I doubt I will win any races but I will have fun driving my favorite cars!

i should be on... probably later... and testing my theme car again.
I had fun at Rome once my car warmed up. I watched the replay and lots of cars were glitchy (flickering gas pedals). I made a bunch of mistakes on the first lap but that put me in the middle of the pack where I fought my way through. Secret to that kink is to brake early and coast through. It will allow you to get on the gas early, maximizing your exit speed and your top speed down the straight. Prior to the kink, there really isn't a passing zone. You cannot run 2-wide through any of that first sector without slowing down to a crawl or trading copious amounts of paint. Best bet is to go single file and make a pass after the kink using the draft.count me in! im testing my Sylvia tonight too!
I had fun last night, best race i had was in Rome, for the first time i finish 8th place! trying to catch up with Esh and Chuyler![]()
oh no! more testing out in the open!
i need to add you to my friends list sio-xie
How much does that Ram weigh? I find it hard to believe suspension tuning could allow something that weighs close to 2400kg to carry the same speed through a turn as something weighing 1500kg.stupid truck![]()
Still trying to learn how to drive with the wheel. Can definitely feel something when it starts oversteering (HSR in the wet was good for that), but I'm still trying to figure out how to save it from going into the inside wall. I'm thinking a quick countersteer with the gas off and then resume steering in the same direction or something like that? Any tips?

Aside from really sharp hairpins like the ones on Eiger, you shouldn't have to turn the wheel very far. Once you understand that there is a threshold to how much steering input you can apply you'll stop over turning the wheel and instead lift off the gas slightly to get more turn-in, or brake sooner. When I drive FR cars on CS tires I supply very little steering input. Using the throttle to do the turning allows you to make quick countersteering measures when necessary. It's a practice thing I guess. Trail braking helps too. It gives your front tires more grip and your rear tires less grip entering a turn. The car will naturally rotate in toward the apex with very little steering input.i have the same problem and would lose it almost every lap with the wheel. i cannot countersteer fast enough, or far enough. ive given up on the wheel for FR cars. ive been focusing on being fast with the ds3. last week i thought i was doing ok with it on the ring. the mistakes then were just me putting a wheel in the grass and completely losing it.

How about these:Chuyler, you wan't to give us a demo of a saving slide using cockpit view?![]()
Great battle at Deep Forest Reverse.
Osprey's Ram was very quick, but when he finally passed me on lap 4 he took turn 1 extremely slow and it allowed Nic to get by me as well. I held back a few times on the rest of lap 4. Both of them had crazy speed out of the final turn of lap 4 and I'm not sure I got any of their draft. I'll have to work on my suspension to get more speed on that turn. However they were slow again through turn 1 and that allowed me to catch up entering the tunnel. I gave Osprey a few bumps for speed to get him past Nic. Then a hole opened up between them so I floored it and went through. I hit the brakes early for the next turn but Osprey locked up his brakes and went wide. Nic and I rubbed fenders when I turned in for the next apex but after the apex I had the right line for the next turn so he backed off. Coming up on the final turn, I had no idea where Nic was so I just took my usual line. After watching the replay it looks like he was doing pretty well with his outside line and I may have pushed him out. After that, I forced Osprey to give me a little bump before he went way inside to draft pass. I edged him out by what looks to be a foot.
chuyer1, it is good that you are being objective because I know you and grenade are buddies. But in any case I will step in for Grenade here (despite his comments last night that I should learn how to drive - lol). I don't think Grenade was trying to cheat the system - in fact, I have noticed he usually chooses crappy cars and tries to make them competitive (his green goblin (?) as an example). He saw a car that he thought was eligible and put ballast in to ensure the weight was above 1400..
Yes, he probably should've switched up after winning the first race , but to your comment about "using a car used on a previous night", as far as I know MODERN muscle car night seems relatively new and muscle car nights have always been 500PP, not 450PP - it is a bit hard to lose 50PP by detuning on most of these cars.
0:46 the dirty driver aok brakes really hard to not hit chuy when osprey comes drifting with his truck smashing my mazda in the grass without giving the position back.👍
