I've been running w/o a mic since last Wednesdays Lemons race and only turn it on to respond to BowtieKids messages. Its off during the races though 100% of the time now.

That's right. :sly:

As for the last photo, I was in the gold camaro, and NO. I didn't spin esh out, he took himself out.

As for the Delorean topic, I could care less, so I'm not going too voice my opinion.

Yes, he probably should've switched up after winning the first race , but to your comment about "using a car used on a previous night", as far as I know MODERN muscle car night seems relatively new and muscle car nights have always been 500PP, not 450PP - it is a bit hard to lose 50PP by detuning on most of these cars.
I think i'll just be more specific with the theme. If I wanted to be a stickler on the requirements, I could have pulled out the Dodge Neon SRT4. it only needs about 50kg of ballast and is more American than the Lotu---DeLorean. So from now on, Muscle Car night will be restricted to FR drivetrain. Perhaps I should make it 1600kg as well for these modern muscle cars which are heavier than the classics.

On a side note, even though the DeLorean is stated to be an '04, i will allow it on 80's night. It is, quite frankly, a quintessential 80's car.

Is it me or do the orange rims look cooler in-game than in this photo? They look like they belong in GT4 in this photo.

Ahh, so that's where everyone went. BTW, my shift indicator never went off for this turn, I used light braking anyway because everyone always goes wide. Check youtube and 75% of the nurburgring crash videos highlight this turn.

Great photo here. Is that Bowtie taking the high ground? Smart man. I had no trouble with the carousel in my behemoth challenger. I was actually on the gas midway through because it had so much grip.

I would drive the deLorean if I could paint it pink.

observations are just observations as long as drivers are running clean and with no use of dirty tactics, all is well and all is fun. This is a tuners series anyway. I dont mind running last as long as i have fun doing it. :)

snoop, out of interest how many matte pink chips do you own?

Fatrab, for awhile, I was using my subaccount to duplicate the chip. I had about 50 at the most, now down to 30 or so. Too lazy to duplicate more, the saving/restoring takes more patience than I have.

Edit: Rotary, just saw your post. Funny. I know I am not the first on the forum to use that chip, so I cannot take the credit. Definitely easy to spot myself on replay/pictures.

Most nights, i just keep the hideous stock colors. I found a MR2 that is green and gold 2-tone. I totally wanted to use it for lemons racing but i will likely save it for something else.

Theres two option for the one make theme the Sylvia when it comes to paint. One is a white two-tone and the other a silver two-tone and the rest are full body paint. i choose the silver two-tone, as it looks nice in white rims! :)

Anyone save the replay from Grand Valley last night?

I may have. I'll check when I get home. Send me an FR.

chuyer1 - got a pic? sounds... hideous.

That Commodore was the first decent tune I've had. I usually just run stock settings and pray

The MR2? In two tone, it's actually really sweet, I owned that combo at one time. Not sure what I did with it.

Good colours at least. Green and gold. Aussie! Oi!

No, but I can probably create one...or i'll pull it out for a few minutes tonight during warmups.

Tonight...
Tuesday 6/21: Comfort Soft Night -- 450pp, open vehicle selection
4WD cars recommended but not required.
Tracks: GVE-R, Lobby Vote
-- Host: ???

no weight limit?

Not sure, should there be a weight limit? If you go too light you won't have any straight line speed. Take my Autobacs Garayia for instance. A MR weighing in at 800kg. Great handling...no speed. I've pulled a 10+ second lead at Nurburgring in that car only to be passed half way down the straight.

Is it too late to do a lightweight classics on CS?

EDIT - If so, then I vote no weight limit. Just CS.

We've done lightweight classics on CS tires twice already on previous sunday nights. Most only make it to 400pp though. Tonight its about grip. The 4WD cars are rarely competitive so tonight will be your chance to pull them out and see if they can perform well.

No weight max/min tonight. If you win a race uncontested, start from the back the next race or switch cars.

i'm just not big into the 4wd cars but i'd like to compete in a lighter mr or fr

I figured people wouldn't want to use them so that's why I left it open. I'm going to try a few and then I'll probably switch to my standbys.

I have that same Green/Gold MR2. I thought it was a nice combo, haha.

We will run in my lobby again tonight. I havent updated the title yet but i will be on at 9:40...finishing up a movie with the wife.

ok so im not a clean driver? im sorry chuyler, but im tired of being described as "dirty driver" from the same 3 o 4 guys. i think that there s some racism goin on here, some guys are so aggressive whit me on track and i dont know why. i have saved lots of replay with me being smashed and sent out of track, but i always made the mistake to shut up. and the sad thing is that apart from twichie and bowtie nobody gives back the position when hits my car. another thing, dont know why if i won a race with the ft86 the car is istantly banned, but only for me, becouse everybody else can use it, and dont know why if i won a race i have to change my car, when there are guys that use the same car all night long winning on every track. this is not cool. now, i enjoy to race with you and it would be sad to leave this lobbie, but i want to know if i am welcome or not

AOK, your dive bomb attempts at Suzuka and Rome Reverse are quite simply getting old. No one wants to be pushed off their line by a late braker. If others are doing this to you, speak up. I make the occasional tap here and there but I always establish sufficent overlap before the brake zone if i am going to attempt a pass. I see multiple videos of you diving into chicanes or tight turns and stealing the inside line by pushing someone else off the track.

As for picking different cars, we have stated if there is a notable winner after a race they should switch to a less dominating car. Other drivers, who aren't as skilled can still use the car unless they too are winning. The point is to challenge yourself by leveling the playing field. Now if the competition is tight and you only won by a nose, I don't think it is necessary to change cars. Changing it up should be reserved for the times a driver wins by several seconds and was never challenged for the lead.
