You can do that my friend! !!!!!
Looked at @HansDampf replay, and the only commonality with my lap was the fact that we were both hitting the same speed before braking for the first corner.....
1:05.383 - PAD/AT/ABS=1
Italian hunter faster but portoguese rabbit just a little faster...
I'm still using my general setup based on an older but still effective Eclipsee Bathurst TT tune.
For future lapping I briefly tested (10-15 laps) a couple of specialized tunes:
Praiano63: 1:05.671 - stable and precise
Roweer1: 1:05.460 - version w/o rigidity feels good for my driving style, for sure I will check more in the next days... thanks for sharing.
I saw your racing line, last night and today... You're faster than me going into the first right hand turn, and you even pull me going up the hill, but that's where I leave you... lol... As you go through those S's stay on the throttle, just turn early... You will carry a lot of speed going into those turns, before the tunnel... You can also stay in the throttle coming out of the tunnel... Try this, bro... You'll be in the 1:08's in no time... I got there today...
?? -It's right there in my post: 181kg Ballast at -8 Ballast pos. (or fx. 182kg at -3) Then: Oil Change and install EVERYTHING. You should be at 500PP, 263BHP and 821 (822) kg total weight.
Billy, thanks for the input. It's the first time I've had anyone on my friends list offer help/suggestions. I'm happy with my time since it was a gold. I don't like these TT's or Super Laps as PD calls them. I play GT6 for relaxation not frustration which seems to happen with these Super Laps. Once I manage a gold I'm done. I have no desire to continue unless I have a silver that is very close to gold. I'd much rather be racing than trying to improve an already gold time.
I must say it is nice having better drivers than myself to chase their ghost lines. So thanks again for the input.
I finally bit the bullet and bought the Suzuki to see how I stack up. Had to dig for a workable tune but a 1:05.231 is okay for half an hour's work, I suppose.
I always try to help a fellow racer... I got to ask, though... What setup are you running??? Your driving line always passes me at the start... Like I said... But, I catch you going up the hill... I think I could do better, if I had your setup...
Hey @Jeje6410 I decided not to use the Suzuki GSX-R because I promise not to use this car, I just use something else .
Did 10 laps in Ford Laser's tune, a bit loose for me because I use the DS3, but an easy drive really.
I got a time of 1:05.575 at this event last year in the GSX-R/4 '01, and here is a link to the tune I used 500PP Non-Racing Car Super Lap: Grand Valley East and thanks to @Roweer1 .
1:06.174 in the first try with this tune. Currently 200º in the rank. A few more laps sure in the 1:05 with the guys. Very good job. Thanks a lot.
Edit: 1:05.980 Uhuuu!!!
Ok my dear friend. I'm sure that the Lotus Elise 111R could do a good time in this event. Yesterday I did 1'08'104 with it with a lot of error.
In with a 1:07.711 with the Miura.
Nope, ALL IN!!! Weight 795 kg, 250hp
...Well: Glad if you can sort it out between you in your native tongue. Cheers
Seems we've got a danish battle here just around the 1.05-mark... and i'm third -and last, so what am i doing here -see ya...
RUF RGT my ride of choice here, amid a plethora of GSXers. An easy path to 1:09 golds. Grand Valley East was my fave for tuning, the 60 sec or so laps have a good mix of high speed, looping corners and tight esses that challenge a handling setup.
Thought I'd give one (of the many) RX-7s a run......
These cars are a lot of fun around here....
I managed a lap time off 1:06.010 using the Suzuki GSX-R/4 '01. Thanks to @o0Maxx0o for the tune, I scrapped -0.00.800 of my previous lap time using my own tune.
Many thanks to @o0Maxx0o for the tune on the GSX/R. I was able to get gold on my first lap. I didn't use his tranny set up because I was so ready to run this event I forgot. Still got gold without it. Great tune and for me finally a Gixer that really handles exceptionally. Thank you Maxx
1:46.791 - 65 atm - @o0Maxx0o tune w/ lower brake balance setting for my PAD driving.
Thanks for sharing
EDIT: ops, it was quite late this night and so I made a thread mistake speaking about my new Suzuka TT record here
LOL, you funny! My bad, what was I thinking trying to help.
The best I can do so far with your tune is a 1:07.975 with a few mistakes. I have another try tomorrow and I do like your car my friend .
Sorry -didn't mean to offend you really. If anything, what i wrote was on myself! As you may have noticed, i was trying to help too -but, at least at first, to no avail. Then you turned up and gave an answer i didn't understand (at the time), to a question, i didn't understand. But by starting your post with a "nope", then surely YOU must have understood. So i thought, Hell, i'm being too explicable or whatever; if you can sort it out between you "short-message-style", then more power to you!
Looks like we have a hacked car in P1 again - Kei Works 02......!!
Looks absolutely - 100% - legit to me - Loser wasn't even able to get a 1:03
Thanks a lot my dear friend for your test . It's always a real pleasure to read yours comments. Thanks again my dear friend
He obviously wasn't trying!
Of course, we could all have chosen the wrong car for this event?
...Love this track, hate this car !
Wish they'd do a borrowed car time trial again.
*edit as phone died and didn't realise it had posted , my bad
