In the second part I can not be much faster, but in the first part there is a second. I got to play with the tune and hope on the best in first corners.

I was able to do a 1:14.781 with a DS3 and about 30 minutes of tuning. Im a pretty average driver so im sure pros could turn in 1:12s with the tune and a wheel

This is not my own original tune. This is a mix of three fantastic tunes

I use a DS3 and got a 1:10 time, And believe me I'm not a pro. In this RH tires TT's I am a ''good'' driver. Butt everybody with a DS3 can have a 1:10 time, Its al about practice.

I'm some reason not liking the feel of this combo, I've use a friends fast tune but didn't suit me well :boggled:

Well, just put in my 2nd session of this TT, quick 30 minute session, and had a HUGE improvement over my time from last night. Brought my time down from 1:13.4 to 1:11.6 (which brought it from like 700-something place down to 166th place). Wooohoooooooo!

First session pulled a 1:12.948, good for 605th, with a quick off the cuff tune that couldn't be more different than the Sw_10/Whoosier one. About to toss that one on and see how it goes!

(First post, ha)

Going into this TT my goal was to finish in the top 2500 as I've never accomplished that.
After 5 laps on one of my old tunes I'm sitting in 812th with a 1:13.347

Edit:
After a few laps I have improved to 1:12.878 good for 586th as of now.

That's it for the night. Sitting on a 1:10.732, good for 78th. I'm losing a lot of time through the tight section and over the hump.

Here's my tune from the Indy Road Course event that has always worked well:
Suspension-
95 90 (changed)
11.50 10.50
1 1
1 1
7 7
No camber or toe
Brakes-

Transmission-
Reset to default, final gear all the way right, top speed 149 mph, first through fourth gear all the way right, final gear 3.900 (change in that order).
Differential-
5

5
Full power, no oil change, body rigidity installed, no added ballast.
Downforce-
500 700

I started my try with @shaunm80 's setup .
Thanks again.

after few laps i found out its way to hard for me. I have a lot understeering in fast turns and a bit movement on he rear while on the outline of slow corners.

so i reduced springrate a lot , dumpers significant and raised rollbars. That makes it feel much better and encourage me to take the last long right flatout (except the final turn towards straight).

that gave me a mid 1.12.xxx . good enough for now especially regarding the missing SRF that canot be enabled ... i got very used to this setting :boggled:

 Have the same but the other way around. I can't drive with SRF on.

Try the setups from the Indy TT (Link somewhere above)

its this one i think your talking about?

when i take a look at this setup i think it is already very close to what i adjusted to my NASCAR.
I'll have a closer look at it when I'm at home. (currently at work)

but nevertheless I'm already happy with my 1.12.anything where i know exactly where and who i lost about 1-2 seconds.
only if i get alltogether a 1.11.high would be possible for me but this will be a huge effort for me

Stand on the 70th place with a 1:10.446, Not much improved today. I hope for a time under 1:10. Any tips are welcome:tup:

Just signed on to find that my time has dropped 300+ spots over night.

Looking at the tunes posted above I added more downforce as I've only been running with it at 400/600. I bumped it up to 475/700 and I finally broke into the 11's not by much though.

1:11.993 good for 415th as of now.

Edit:
1:11.720 good for 332nd as of now.

That was a good tune, only change I made was final gear 2.500, gained half second more on that little tight uphill downhill section. @WhoosierGirl was quite the performer back when she was active on GT6.
