I was just thinking of a car for some of my endurance races. I was thinking, which car us better? The Mazda 787B or the Peugeot 908 Hdi?

I need your own opinions on this :)

If you like keeping them stock, get your hands on the Mazda. If you add racing softs, I don't know, both of them are very fast. If you add turbos, I really can't answer your question since I leave all my race cars stock and only upgrade tires.
If you use cockpit view, you have a better point of view from the 787B's cockpit, but if you like small details and colorful cockpits, get the 908.
And, if you have the money, why not get them both :D
Just kidding, I'd go for the Mazda, it's been a special car for me since GT3, but the Pug can really be just as good :)

I prefer the 787. I agree the 908 has the potential to be a bit faster, but there is just something about it that doesn't thrill me like the 787 does. Keep in mind I'm being super picky (and I can't even quantify why) and that is just my preference. Both cars are sweet.

The 908 feels so bland. The 787b has character, from the looks, to the noise, just everything and when i tuned mine it laps nurburg 7 seconds faster than my tuned 908.

The 908 has so much torque it makes it tricky to drive fast. Definitely fast if you can master throttle control.

Can't comment on the Mazda haven't had the chance to drive one yet.

That applies to all of the LMP cars, but of all the more modern ones ('88 and above) the 908 is the most forgiving in that regard.

If PSN was up I would add you and let you try them both out, and see which one you like. I am trying to decide which one I would use myself when I decide to do the 24hr race's. I know bobs liked using the 787b.

I would say 787b, when tuned right its a beast, and it is fast.

If you drive without the driving aids, then I'd recommend a 908.

Even among the 908's I'd recommend the Oreca one, as it has better camera angles:dopey:

All cars can be won on a 1000 ticket, it's pure randomness. You should get a ticket from the year they are from via a trade, that would be the easiest way to save the money.

The Mazda definitely. Fast, grippy and I love the sound and the cockpit view (esp the rev counter). They are both great though. All about throttle control.
