Phew, nice to know I'm not the only one. :O Didn't catch that R8 version but those S5's (I think) look so damn sexy. :O

No you get a large stagnant area above the car, that's the key. This does create a moment flipping the car, but there's a much larger moment underneath the car trying to flip it exactly to the other way. So it balances it out. Watch the 2008 monza crash on youtube. If the car had such a fin it wouldn't probably have flipped so extreme.

Three safety cars were out because a Porsche went to the barriers at the Porsche curves. They are back to racing now.

Correct, but in the other direction to the one of the fin.

Add a Canadian to that. Corvette's chances of winning are very low, that's the only reason :p. Pretty scary while the Rebellion was turning around though..
 
What else was he supposed to do?
 
Are they in your countries (excluding USA) also viewers asking hugely dumb questions about the simmilarities between F1 and WEC? I'm sick of it and it's the main reason I watch Eurosport rather than the national channel (RTL7)
