I think Speed covered about 5 hours of last years, and then the rest got cut out because of a nascar raceAnyone know if there'll be any TV coverage for America?

AutosportFerrari F1 driver Alonso to give the start at Le Mans 24 Hours
By Gary Watkins Monday, May 26th 2014, 15:50 GMT
Two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso will give the start at next month's Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Ferrari driver has accepted an invitation to be the honorary starter of the blue-riband round of the World Endurance Championship on June 14/15.
The move "shows the strong links that exist between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and Ferrari", according to a statement from the Le Mans-organising club.
It will be the first time in the history of the 24 Hours that the role of honorary starter has been given to an active racing driver.
Those who have filled the role previously include Alonso's boss at Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo (2009), six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx (2000), actor Steve McQueen (1971) and then Jaguar chairman Sir John Egan (1986).
Reigning WEC champion and 2013 Le Mans winner Allan McNish will act as grand marshal, which includes the duty of leading the cars around the formation lap.
Corvette Racing programme manager Doug Fehan will also be honoured during 24 Hours week with a 'Spirit of Le Mans' award for his contribution to a race in which his operation has recorded seven class wins.
Multiple Le Mans winners Derek Bell, Henri Pescarolo and Tom Kristensen, long-time Porsche engineer Norbert Singer and team boss Reinhold Joest are among those who have been given the award since its inception in 2001.

@radiolemans Now was this about Krohn Racing or The Man Formerly Known as "The Stig"? I'm #confused... @_@ http://tinyurl.com/l9khtku![]()
So what do you think it is? Car-related? Driver-related? Thinking the latter here...Saw that. Appears it's not Chris (PS Following you now).

If that's the case, you may need to have at the ready a certain clip from a certain monster movie from the 1930's.Other tweets indicate it's nothing to do with "car waiver" aka the Vipers needing a waiver in. Could be wrong but i'm calling Pescarolo having pulled themselves together at last minute.
Do flying lizards have a car though thought they did audis now.Ok it's "major team news" so it's a team. Also they must be racing in the Tudor championship because there's an hint about them not having a car compliant with ACO rules.
This rules out GTLM, therefore it's either a GTD team or a LMP2/DP team.
EDIT - Flying Lizards?

Yep, GTD Audis but as I said one of the insiders was implying it was a team without an ACO compliant car.
However, I just digged a bit more and it seems FLizards (the team and owners) is already set for Le Mans, in a "joint venture" with a GTE-Am Ferrari team. So, it must be some other team from the US. What are the fan favourite teams from there? Highcroft was, but it has vanished. Muscle Milk? Hardly a fan favourite I think. Level 5? No ... really have no clue.
Won't be the BMWs hence why bmw did the m3 and not the z4 I would take an educated guess at weather tech or srt.Ok that puts Vipers back in the frame. Perhaps at a looong shot BMW?
Doesn't meet the regsDeltawing?
In which car? We already know about their 458 entry... Did they keep a 997 around just for kicks?Well my delving about seems to indicate that is Lizards...
