old, but i have another video of a viper racing a f355, not braking enuff and fly off of a cliff.... the guy survived tho. damn vipers and their brakes

Ouch. That looked painful. The airbags don't do much when they are wearing racing harnesses though. Should they have been deactivated?

at least they kinda managed to keep glass from flying into the cabin.

the car WAS flipped, right? the passenger didnt look like he was under the effect of gravity when everything else did. lol.

I've seen that video before. They were actually testing an aftermarket brake modification they were working on that failed at the brake point for that turn. Yes, the car endoed when they hit the tire wall. It was heavily damaged but I don't believe either guy was too badly hurt.

Wow, whatever brake company that was I don't want em on my car.

OUCH..... That would be my luck...
First time I take my car to the track this year with my baer kit installed it will happen, Why? because im doin the install myself...lmao!!!!

scary for sure. the guy pulls up the handbrake before the impact, but wouldnt it have been better to engage a lower gear?
You can hear him stuffing it down in to third and probabaly second before they hit the wall.

hahaha thats why i dont like vipers

vipers (stock) are famous for their excellent breaks and accelleration. But your still allowed to have your tasteless opinions. :)

I've seen videos of WRC cars that have had worse than that...

Subaru's roll cages can support up to three times the weight of the car. They still completely crumple like paper on some occasions.

Then there's the video of a piece of metal being shot to 57600km/h before hitting a wall. that's not in Dollar value though...

Meh... I've also seen the Subaru flip... I think that was the worst I've seen... Well... NASCAR also has their share of rolls... Flying up into the air and flipping... And I remember some Le Mans car flying up also... (Though in that case its not brake failure or crashes that lead to rolls but whatever...)

Too much air getting underneath the car.

I have one of the CLK-GTR car doing that, as well a Porsche 911 GT1 doing the same. But everyone and their dog have seen those
