Haven't tried the 908, but if it's anything like the R10 then I'd go for the 787B.
The R10 is a handfull even on Soft Racing tires, it wants to throw you into the trees on the exit of every corner unless you have a feather light right foot, the 787B is much more driveable in my opinion, the R10 has so much torque it's quite a challenge, and in the wet ? Forget it !
Put it this way, my second wet lap on the Nurburgring with the 787B was a clean lap, I still haven't managed that with the R10 after a couple of hours trying !
(with all AIDS off of course, except ABS)
