The Alfa has no speed compared to the Merc and Opel. Either people are using turbo's or they have way more torque. Its stupid. The Alfa doesnt stand a chance in the straight. And the Merc witht the assists of Assisted steering just have great traction and the turbo gives it soo much torque. I was left for dead.

Divison 1. Well wasted 15 minutes doing nothing but practcie. Then the connection goes. Do qualifying, only 7 minutes. I got pole. Then Disconnected. Rejoin, ask for 1 lap, someone says "ok" and then they start. It was a joke tonight. Race. Well Merc was easily the fastest. Out of the corners it's just fly's past. No speed with the alfa and seemed like some guys where running turbos. People didnt obey the pit-line. Just a mess.
Race 2. Lag was horrible. that caused me to crash. Then the race, M1 went past me. After lap he was about 3-4 seconds infront. This is a joke. The merc is too fast because of the assist steering thing. The opel's seemed to have great corning and straight line speed. But the Alfa was no where, and we struggled. It seems to be easy for the Merc's, they have so much race speed. Its annoying. Looked forward to this, everything fell apart and there was no organistion. 5th and 11th. Best tracks for Alfa. Looks like division 2 for me.
Its pointless to have to Alfa if its this slow, it has no advantage. Its very understeery and the quickest in the straight and hardly good on its tyres. It has all the negative's and no positives. Im just pi**ed off. Not going to lie looked like fun, instead it was boring and annoying.

Race 2 lagg was impossible, enjoyed the Cole Trickle moment on the first lap however............smoke!!!!

Really good racing tonight in Division 2.

Early pit strategy worked for me in both races, thought I was going to get a podium in GVS but ended up 2 tenths behind berty. Good race nonetheless, hairpin is a killer, caught me and numerous others out plenty of times.

I'l try and find a tune for next week, used default here and got annihilated at Fuji by the Calibras on the home straight.

Strawman, I didnt have Active steering on, thats because active steering makes cars understeer more which is the last thing you want on the merc, I only told wordup to put it on because it is allowed, and the Alfa is a lot faster through the corners so the mercs straight line speed just balances it.

Pole? No I didnt have that. I got disconnected, and started last. Someone said I could have 1 lap, and then started the race. And we only had ONE advantage which was corning but the Merc was quick round the corners and even quicker on the striaght. Im moaning because its not close and fair. I had a pole, if i allowed to do one lap I could of been in the right position.

Race 1 Spurgys Merc murdered me on the straight i didnt seem to grab any draft assistance for some reason he pulled away with ease, stage 3 turbo on the Alfa would be a useful aid however.💡

Race parameters
The car must have 2 wheels on the track at all times and the track is defined by the tarmac and the kerbs inclusivley as one. You are allowed a small number of mistakes but if you are deemed to be using run offs/walls/cutting to gain an advantage you will be heavily penalized.

There are people need to read that.....

Cracking first round for me

I qualified second by 5 hundredths of a second i think. But Ellis the turnip wasnt on track when Brett started the race.
So we all had to leave the track and then had one flying lap, in which i span and i started second to last.....not good
I fought through the pack and caught up to brett, we had an epic battle for a few laps but i broke his slip stream and pulled away. I was by myself for the rest but it was still good fun 👍 cruised in the for win
The reverse grid system meant i started last, i was fighting through the pack, i got a few knocks, and got spun out at one point but i carried on going.
I fought back and got up to 4th, then on the last lap i went for it. I passed tyrell on the tight hairpin, then i got brett on the 3rd to last corner and brought it home in second well chuffed

I got pole but only by a few tenths. But when it came to the race the Alfa was getting owned out there. I would accept my positions if I knew I had a chance to fight against others, but we couldnt go faster in the slipstream and the others had better exit speed too. The alfa is only quick on a clean, and space during the lap. If there's people in front we cant overtake. We can't defend either. The speed of others was just easy to see, and they just went straight past us on the straight. If we had more torque of something with turbo e'd hhave a better chance.

I had exactly the same problem in the BMW, when i was battling with brett i would pull alongside him and off he went. But i stuck at it and it pulled off.

If were infront from the start we have a good chance of staying there if we can pull away quickly. But I've were stuck in 2nd or something we simply can't attack. If we can't attack we have to defend because we getting caught by the guy behind with better speed. If we are not infront we are going slowly backwards. If we had more torque we could pull out of corners better. Thats all I'm requesting. Im made mistakes tonight but it was because I was pushing very very hard.

M3 has the same problem! The trouble is if you increase it's power then they will run away with it because of better handling!

I think overall the cars are quite well matched, the problem lies with drafting its too unrealistic in GT5.
