Well in Fuji i did 1:39,5 in quali and 1:39 in race, i hate fuji heheh
, and in GVS i did 1:54 in test and 1:53.8 in race

You always get some contact with drivers who have never raced with each other before.
But as the season goes on people will become familiar with others driving styles, and will hopefully compensate.
Last night I was racing pretty closely with some and got a very good idea of how they drive, its all part of the learning curve 👍

Yep, it was recorded as a joke and not shown on TV.

As for last night's races, the Merc really needs some help off the line. I started 3rd or 4th after our second bit of qualifying at Fuji and ended up second to last after the first corner, with everyone flying past down the main straight. Managed to work my way back up to second throughout the race though.

As for Grand Valley, started second to last due to the reversed grid, dodged spins in the annoying hairpin on the first 2 laps, and gained places from them. Couldn't get past Mike when I got to him though, and neither could another 3 or 4 drivers, so we all pit a lap or two early to try and jump him, which worked. After pitting I tried desperately to keep up with the M3's but couldn't. If I'd been able to keep up, I'd have joined the battle for second place. I finished 5th.

Well then I´m not that angry anymore.
You had horrible lag and kicked me off at Fuji two times => me 3rd last
And you caused me a red engine at GVS due to lagg.
You could have asked after Race1 if there are only 5 people in the lobby

Fuji: I had no qualy either but that wasn´t the problem
But 4th at GVS was ok after the horrible Fuji race (for me).
In addition Fuji is the worst Track for online raceing just because it´s soo wide and has soo much useable runoff-areas (useable = Timegaining).



@Andy: Have you tested the Merc pre-season ??
Well the Alfa is by far the fastest Car (at least for me) and I wanted to drive the Merc bacause its RWD => challenging at the Start and in general.
Look at the starts. AWD´s mash the Throttle and they are gone. We in the Benz have to control the Throttle.
Anyway if you want to change to the Benz I give you my slot and I fill up the Alfa spot ??

I tested all Cars and have a Lap-Time-difference of 0.3 seconds from 1st to 4th
=> all cars are almost equal
=> Spurgy is just an Insalien Driver xD 👍

I was competitive with al Cars pre-season (I won in Alfa, Cally and Merc) except when Spurgy was there (he won almost every Time !!!)


&#8364;dit: I just saw that I´m Steward for D1 ?? I never said I would do it Brett (Steward for FGTC and for BST V8 is enough)
=> I didn´t save the replay´s

Sakery- Shame you guys had lag, we just had the one disconnect but the race looked good, ill check that wordup had his lounge settings to low. Decent finish at GVS for you 👍

Oh and I think everyone in div 1 turned up which is a miracle and only 2 missing in div 2, a good sign.

Tighter tracks? I'll be starting near the back of the grid then. The Merc's poor start will mean I drop back more off the line, and then won't be able to do much in the race. /tighter track predictions.

The only people lagging in our lobby was Pipi at the start of Fuji. After that all was fine.

P.S the jumpers they wear are proper nice might have to get 1.

Joe- I am hoping the different tracks favour different cars a bit, its all part of the fun. A driver of your talent should be able to pull something out of the bag

Sakery- You have to drop a result so that can be the one mate.

Etid- That is what they actually wore every day! Can you believe it.

If you're in the Merc could you send me the settings too? When I searched I could only find 2 setups to try, and one wasn't very good.

I was hit by S30 4 times at GVS, caused me red engine/tyres etc and off the track 2 to 3 times, something needs to be done on this lagg problem for the next race, it has caused our Merc team a few places already.

Using lots off run offs as part of the track regularly is also a problem needs to be address, '2 wheels on the track'.

At both Fuji and GVS, cars are moving from left to right to left a few times on the main straight, is that allow?

Good point about the swerving. Swerving is totally illegal and you should report any drivers doing it. If someone is trying to catch my draft (a long way back) I will take a few changes of direction to keep them back but when they are actually in my draft and getting within roughly 10 car lengths I remain on my chosen line. When they are about to make the move you may not block them, pick your line and live with it
Report people that are blocking/swerving please!
