What shall we do about tyre wear?

I identified 3 drivers that may be a problem, one has left and I have spoken to another. The third will get a mildly threatening private message from me this afternoon. Any messing about tonight and penalties will be dished out, its worth bearing in mind that if anyone gains a place by racing dirty they will lose a LOT of points. That said, this is touring cars so bumps and scrapes are ok- putting someone off track or using them for brakes is definitley not.

Is the series going ahead tonight? I thought it was postponed so I made plans.
 
Yes mate it is, I put the start date in and we mentioned it on here about 8 days ago :lol:
no worries if you cant make it you can drop the two DNS results.
 
Don't worry I was only goin to watch football up the pub. I'll watch highlights tomorrow or something.

Better get some practice in then...

Being fast is a problem as during the race it eats its tires fast. Im going for low tyre wear, and trying to be quick too

Is 1.36.5 good at Fuji? And yes 100% clean lap 👍
 
1.36.5 will grab you a win no problem. I dont know how you can keep that up though?

Division 2 room open in 10 mins.

Ok well thats qualifying pace, race 1.38's maybe 1.37 if im lucky

And if he's not on who do we go to?
 
Something is not right with the car. It slower when in draft. And I am setting 1 40's where as I was on 1 37 in quali
 
Woo, great first race, last time - 1st by 4.7 seconds, this time, last by 28.8 seconds :grumpy: I qualied 5th, ETID 6th, and that was out of 7 people :/

2nd race - 6th! wow, and that was with everyone else going into the gravel a lot...

i believe everyone pointed all the crashes and bumps towards me. tbh im going to leave.
people doing 2 moves when side by side. stupid. no one bothers with the rules and everyone seems to have something against me.

edit: word i wasnt talking about the accident between us. you made a mistake and i don't mind as it was an accident and cold tyres. im talking about Fuji and halve of race 2

Ill deal with the above issues one by one.

Division 2- Absolutley fantastic racing lads (apart from ellis not changing his oil and being down 30 odd hp)
No complaints at the end and some good battles 👍
If anyone has a complaint you have 12 hours to lodge them with me or wordup.

Now, I dont have the results for div 1 yet but if there was bashing going on we will sort it.
Andy- You can leave if you like but if you did nothing wrong then the replay will show that, I have nothing against you.

The performances of the car will be assessed when I have seen the results of div 1. Mercedes struggled a bit today so hp changes will probably be taking place.

i did nothing wrong im just clearly not wanted here.
 
Andy dont leave dude :) you know what its like straight after the incidents, everyone wants to blame someone else rather than themselves.

As for div 2 it was awesome stuff :D Qualified first but started last for come reason :confused: came through and had a good fight with brett, but got him in the pits and i managed to score the big points :D

Second race i managed to fight through, had a good battle with knelly 👍 got past and went after brett to challenge for the win, i was grabbing a few tenths here and there but on the 8th lap on the final turn brett went wide, put a wheel on the grass and spun a full 360 into the pits :lol: leaving me clear to take my second win, and set Alfa up for the 1,2

im just being blamed for everything. Jb will back me up when i say im a clean driver. when i joined his league they were pleased i was a clean fair driver.
sure i make mistakes but im not the problem. everyone sash diving and make do or siege moves. this isn't racing. its bumper caravans. and to think these guys are the quickest, they drive like theres no tomorrow.
im sorry but it wasn't nice being blamed for crashes when my reputation isnt like that.

Andy- Just ignore them, people are annoyed straight after a race, if you did anything the stewards will get you anyway so you got no worries. Dont take it so personally.
