What shall we do about tyre wear?

i know yous guys dont no me an prop av revasons bout raceing me, i can get that. but i wil do a trile race if yous want, but im a clean driver an dont mess about, but if im avn a bad day like we all do hope you`s will wil me aother go, any how its your races an i hope i can jon yous some day

Im just stating a fact I've noticed when the merc guys test. They have great tyre wear and quick. There setup is good yet we can't have it meaning that all that testing isn't valid because we don't match the test pace. Thats why only guys from that team should test their own car otherwise with spurgy being super quick we can't match his pace in the Alfa when he's in it

Setup? Everything was default when I ran the Alfa, other than me maxing the aero and changing the transmission.
 
Andy let it go kiddo not worth fussin over bud, see how things go mate SSR5 the Alfa felt good:tup: My setup probably dosent suit TM tbh ive no time to mess about trying another now, so will run with what i got keep smilin chap.:D

On thursday will you publish the overall race time of the winner in each race.

Nothing serious, just for bragging rights. I'm recon the times will be very close.

10011- Like I said in my previous post mate, join us tonight for a test run and drive safely and we will be all good :D

Andy- Just concentrate on your own racing mate, nothing to be gained by making comments all the time. At the end of the day its ME who decides on the settings and I will make them as fair as possible ok.
 
Andy, dude, give it up man. I'm seriously bored of every time I come on this thread, hearing you complain about one car being faster / better than the others.

Fact - not all cars in any one series are equal
Fact - some cars will always perform better than others on particular tracks
Fact - Each car will have it's own strengths and they will perform as such at certain times through the season.

I for one am delighted by the work and efforts that Brett and others have put into trying to get the cars as equal as possible, and probaly gone a little too far. They are never going to get them all the same - live with it.

If there are obvious changes to be made, then do it at the end of Season 1, and not before. There is no reason for any more changes. I just want to race.

Carry on mate and I (I am sure others) will look to consider leaving.

Andy, the idea is you test all the cars, and see what time you can do in each, the testing isnt a competition! :D I think it should be more even hopefully because the Mercs seems to suit these tracks better, but its quite slow at Laguna :(

Brett, my tests are complete ill be sending all the times to you soon :D its just for the current settings though.
Knelly, its all very well wanting to just race without anymore changes, but if you were in a slower car I dont think youd be saying the same thing.

Shouldn't all these cars have been tested to the max prior to series starting. Would have saved alot of agro!!!
 
We did test them a lot, and the settings seemed to work fine for the first two races, but the second two team Merc were faster.

Wasn't trying to cause s h I t e was just a bit of advise from someone who run few series.
 
The settings are how they are, we have got to this stage after countless test races and testing, lets just see how the races go tomorrow and then we can post our findings and leave the decisions to be made by by brett and brett alone. Arguing is stupid, infantile and will get us no where. Lets just leave it., and PLEASE MOVE ON!!!

You have no interest here so do one.
Nothing is perfect on GT5 unless you all have the same cars anyway :banghead:

Meanwhile back at the 90's DTM series :lol:

Ill be on tonight at 815pm. I intend to run the following races. Roughly 5-7 laps.

90's DTM @ SSR5 and TM
LMP's @ Sarth
GT supercars @ NB24hr
NSX GT500's @Spa and Suzuka
Some same car racing and Dirty Nascar to finish.

Join me if you can :D
