What shall we do about tyre wear?

All theory :D

Cape Ring is a nice Track but not the full ring. Although we had a fun race at the FGTC I still don´t like the 360° Banked Turn.
The Inner Circle is a very superb Track and it has a flow. The complete one is (for me) a Thilke-style Track:
Unnaturally, unflowing and just a Corner combination. (although Thilke betters hisself slightly).
But I like it somehow (wierd isn´t it :D)

Weather has to be majorly tested with the RWD Benz. You AWD guys can put the Center-diff to 50/50 and will probably dominate us; at least with 35%+ wettness.
 
50-50 would be best in theory, is it even possible to have more at the front? I have never tried it.
 
There is that but hopefully the difference in speed won't be that much :D unless youre in a RWD car that will spin if you put the power on too hard round certain corners :lol:

90's DTM official announcement
Season 2 settings are as follows.
All cars are subject to a 473bhp limit. This will naturally 'gift' the Mercedes 2bhp and increase its substantial straight line advantage over the AWD cars.
Weights will remain the same as last season for the AWD cars and Mercedes will be decreased to 1000kg to boost tyre wear advantage towards the end of the race.
 


A 1996 Super Battle Best Motoring race between a Ferrari F40, F355, Nismo 400R, Nissan R33 GT-R, Porsche 911 GT2, 911 Turbo, Honda NSX, and a Tuned Mazda RX-7

Ok wrapped the code, but on my pc its coming up as a white blank box. If i hover over with the mouse it says video not loaded. Tried F5 but makes no difference..... Is it workin ok for you lot?

Immortals in an alfa? Stick him in a merc so we at least have half a chance :( having him in the fastest car is crazy.
 
It was fun racing you guys at S1:tup:. There were many close and clean battles which I enjoyed.

I am very busy on both work and home front at the moment (my GT5 allowance is been cut), therefore I can not commit to S2:grumpy: sorry.

This is a good championship, well done berty and thank you to everyone that helped putting this championship together. Hopefully I will be able to return and race again at later seasons, until then good luck to all. See you on track some day.:)

Hi Guys,

Bit of a problem here. ive got two profiles and need to transfer the cars from one profile to another and wondered if anyone can help?

Both accounts are the same username just on 2 ps3's (same psn) and i was thinking if I gifted the cars to someone could they then gift them me back?

Any help appreciated and if you can PM me if you can help that would be great.

I´ll test at London and Daytona and send You my findings (I´ll send it to Spurgy because he can mix my and his set-up so we have the perfect one, or he just uses his it´s normally the best :D) and maybe it helps you a bit :D

tbh probably just about 10-15 select ones, some im not fussed about whereas others im dying to keep! if you dont mind me sending them to you that would be grand mate :) i can send the 10-15 i want to keep then send the rest as a gift for you?

luckily (touchwood) i dont have to trade the dtm as its in my main profile, but found i had my favourite car (supra rz) and a few others on my other profile, so want to keep them :)
 
Hey all. Just randomly stumbled accross this thread in the "new posts", but coincedentally drove the Alpha 155 this weekend for the first time and it's now my fav car to just enjoy driving. I don't know Nurb ring all that well, but took it out on it's first run in a on-line room and I've never done better. It's like the car made up for any of my shortcomings. I confess I have not read more than a few pages of this thread, but my question is: Is there any way at this point to get the other two DMT cars you mentioned the first pages? (merc and opel) I'd like to get a chance to add them to my garage. I'm also gonna read more about this 2nd season and see if I can jump in, but most likely I don't have the skills yet. Maybe I can check a practice out and see. Seems like it would be such a fun class.

Enjoyed racing with you m1, had some good battles. 👍

Wrx the only way you can get them is to keep an eye out in the UCD or if you really want them then go to any A-spec race, start the race then quit and restart 5 times and check the UCD. Repeat until you find them. Took me about 20 minutes to get all the cars.
 
Ray- Sure thing, I think you can only send one a day but make a start and add me on your other profile. Make sure its clear to me where to send them as I am a bit dim at the best of times :dunce:

WRX- regardless of capability you should join as its the fasest way to get better 👍 I only have a space at Mercedes so you would need one, find out which tickets can grant a Merc and I can maybe send you one. Otherwise you have to recycle the UCD as described by Tyrrell. I dont currently practice for this series but some of the other lads do, maybe you could run around with them.
 
If you want I can help transfer cars too mate, but noy until Saturday, which brings me onto my next point....

I cant make it on Wednesday guys. Hopefully this will be my only drop for the season though!!

this is going to be the funny thing, both accounts are under the same PSN - squeekimus lol! if you can keep hold of the three cars i will send, I will then sign on to my other ps3 and tell you to send them back is that ok mate? cant believe I can only do one per day :(

He has two accounts with the same name, so wait until he has told you to send them before you do, so they dont get sent to the wrong one. :D

Merc - Doing some last minute setups as usual, will send them soon, have london, just working on daytona 👍
