I don't think you can do much about the pitstop, as you went in flat out. For these cars I think anything over 80mph at Daytona would be risking the game giving you a drive through or holding you in your pit box for a 10 second penalty.

to be honest, having never driven the track before, i didnt know where the pit lane started etc and bunged in at the last second, so i can understand and wouldnt quarrel should nothing become of it

Joe- Cheers mate.

Ray- Its rough luck mate, some tracks 'do' things to you if your too fast into the pits. Its a good idea to look for the pit entrance before the race  I learned the hard way at Fuji in season 1 :(

Just like Grand Valley Speedway sucked your car into the pits

Grrr, I will never be allowed to forget that! That was just 'turnip error' as opposed to Fuji which was 'uneducated turnip'. Capishe?

Its all in good fun, as are your occasional references to my....ahem...experiences in Carmarthen, just a bit of light hearted banter is all

We all occasionally drive under the influence of the mighty turnip

Damn I got Mike in the merc still on the LB, Ill change it next week!

:grumpy: I could have run with 1000kg in my Alfa and got away with it! :trouble:

Btw, what are we doing if the Mercs completely fail in the rain? I know its in two weeks, but thought id ask, we havent really tested them there :)

we are not doing anything, if they totally fail they will have to work harder the week after :D
We did test them briefley and the consensus was that they were actually going to be fine 👍

Round the corners yeh, just think you could kill us out of the corners, we'll have to see, just thought it would be a good idea to plan ahead incase :)

Fractured my arm today so you can count me out for the rest of the season. :(

Would like to carry on when it gets better though. Hopefully by season 3. :)

Was running down a hill and slipped on a drain going round a corner and smashed my elbow on the kerb. Then I nearly got ran over by a Picasso.

Also is it bad that the first thing I thought of when I got back up was, 🤬, how am I going to play GT5 now ?

Dude, you are lucky you didnt get run over. Can you imagine the embarrassment! A citroen!

Sorry you bust your arm dude, your a huge loss to team vauxhall man :(

my plan to spite team vauxhall is working :dopey:

sorry to hear this mate, and yes that is rather geeky that you thought of gt5, but I would too lol 👍

Have you done the stewards report yet? :) Fingers crossed immortal took out the entire field several times and got a 60 point penalty :D Anyone done any times at Indy or whatever the other track is?
Also, since when did Sakery leave? :(

I havent done it yet but it will be done before the next race, i think I have 3 complaints somewhere.
I dont practice as you know but I expect indy will be a tough one for the AWD cars.

Oh, he was struggling to make race 1 on a weekly basis so we had a chat and decided that I would rather he stayed in the FGTC than this due to his long history there.

Does that mean we can go back to the closer to 2100 start time for us early risers? Gives me time to have a chat after before I hit the hay.

Noooo :( That means Ill have to tune the Merc by myself D: And im really struggling to get the Merc to steer at Indy, just wants to go straight all the time! :grumpy:

Why don't you ask Immortal?

I'm sure he will have tuned all the cars to the best of their ability so he can know the weak spots!

We can maybe nudge closer to the regular time now mike 👍

 Spurgey, I am sure you will manage, but we will miss our German friend :(

Yeh, ive got a setup im happy with, tried the other cars and they seemed to understeer too, so im guessing its just the track :)
