That track is very fresh.. almost no buildup
not so...in the second picture the supermoto guy is leaving a superfresh strip of rubber as he backs it into the corner and you can't see any of it.

One question: If you drive so often why cant you compensate? IRL track temp humidity and type of tarmac can make the same tyres react completely different. You never drove carts or formula's....There is a lot to get to Grips with...sorry for the pun
Toss a filter on there. ... I can show you thousands of pics without the glare. so what?
Do you have a pic of the front of his visor? is it tinted? ...no glare
You suck at the game Viperguy324! As simple is that..
How can you be so stupid? Yes you are REALLY stupid, and for some reason I don't think I'm the only one who thinks so.
I don't even care to argue with your stupid complains, because they are.. guess what? STUPID...
HAHAHA - good pun 👍
But seirously, what's the big deal here: why can't you just go and use the R3s if that floats your boat.

Thats kinda sad really. I've shown you two untouched photos with the sun at the right angle to produce track glare that you say doesn't exist. At the right angle to the sun this will happen at most asphalt tracks on the planet. I believe the main reason is the petroleum base in the asphalt is what gives it the reflective properties.
But hey...you can ignore what your own eyes see if you want.

and that prooves you're not good enough..because i'm stuck at S10
they have the same amount of grip as you but they can drive..I would love too.. problem is i've got to pass 16 cars that are all over the place and seem to have plenty of grip and i'm in the lotus.
This is a great contribution to the thread. Thanks. I hope to see more like this in the future.
What does the shininess (does that word even exist?) of tracks have to do with where you come from?Like I said ... I can show you pics all day long of tracks with less sun and no glare.. Point is all these tracks are a bit too shiny for my taste... maybe it's because i'm in germany???
they have the same amount of grip as you but they can drive..
EDIT: and in real life the cars are not all over the place?
Yes to both counts and what are commonly known as R compound tyres (road legal cut slicks) are a long way from true slicks. The composition and base rubber types used are totally different, a cut slick will still provide a reasonable degree of grip when cold, a full racing slick is not far removed from driving on ice when stone cold. And have you driven on cut slicks before in real life? ... they are not far off from full slicks.
Sorry but what does this actually mean? Are you honestly saying that you have driven 1000s of track laps, including at the 'ring and never come across intense glare from the track? It may have escaped your attention, but GT5Toss a filter on there. ... I can show you thousands of pics without the glare. so what?

Physics are physics, I'm talking about the whole thing, but as a point of reference I have compared GT4 tyre grip limits (both lateral and longitudinal) to the real deal in a fairly detailed analysis, and N2 / N3 come across as very realistic in terms of the numbers. GT5The actual car physics are not really my concern..it's the tires that are beyond realistic.
As for my experience.. I would say i'm a advanced track driver. Over 1000+ laps at various tracks ranging from Willow Springs to the Nordschlife.
My current track car is an '06 Spec-C (N12). On R888's
(spec can be seen on IWSTI... under VIPERGUY)
As for GTR2 ... you can adjust the file to bring the grip to reality.
Well that would depend on the nature of the race series itself, if the race series only allows a road legal treaded control tyre (and many such series do exist around the globe) the you can want to use a cut slick or full slick, it just not going to happen. More than enough race series exist in which the competitor has no choice at all over the tyre used.Thats my point.. would you drive your big$$$$$ car off the lot and take it racing with the same street tires on ??? no .. you would go no less then fresh semi's

now how about some pictures? don't you have any?any pictures of you racing in real life would be appreciated.
Scaff.. you have a PM
and the $$$$$ = money as in big money car.
That's OK then, but please what the other abreviation you like using.
I also know I have a PM, however I don't just e-mail people unsolicited, I have to filter out enough spam as it is without giving my e-mail address' out freely. Please either say what you need in a PM or here (if it relates to this topic).
Scaff
and that prooves you're not good enough..
btw it's very funny how a guy who have such a racing experience in real life as you claim you have, can sit in front of a computer and complain over a video game!
any pictures of you racing in real life would be appreciated.

here at the forum? I don't think I'm the only one who wants to se.. use imageshack.usI can send you a pic or too ..I don't have them hosted so how can I post them?
