By the way... I was all excited earlier because I was going to post my latest and let Jimeez know I was only .001 second off his butt when he posted his latest and kinda deflated my tires.:(

Currently, I am at 1'06.226 with T-times of 7.870/24.171/42.146 in AIR-OPEL:D

Settings I am running:

(Note: Giving credit where credit is due, I think that is Jimeez earlier tranny with a little higher final which works really well with an automatic tranny. WFO with only one braking point on the entire track at the end of the front straight just before flying uncontrollably into the first corner:D )

Some worthless trivia: If you run the Speedster I think if you paint it black, it goes faster. Besides, since you spend most of your time up there with the black helicopters, you may as well blend in. On the other hand, if you are running the VX220, I have found the mandarin orange color is just a stitch faster.:cool:

@ phattboy I thought I heard someone just a little to close for comfort and I needed to get another run in. :)

I ran the mandarin and one other color, the red one the fastest :p

I had a lap of 1:05.975 (7.735/23.893/41.841), faster sector times and one tenth slower. :odd:
Those sector times tell me there is more to be taken off on my time. :boggled:

Actually, I kept telling myself the same thing... "There is time that can still be taken off jimeez time... there is time that can still be taken off jimeez time... "

Unfortunately, myself didn't seem to be listening very good:lol:

So... I am changing my strategy... now I'm going to start telling myself:

"In order to be in front of jimeez first you have to believe there is no jimeez..." :lol:

To really get an idea how much time is available I have run 7.398 first sector and have been into T2 @ 23.7xx but I cannot for the life of me seem to get through the last two sectors and hold on to it. I wish I had more time but I have other fish to fry so I will have to settle for where I am at. I have had some low 1'06's but nothing I would call submittable. Without control it is only luck.:)

Maybe some other day.

Maybe, I to adjust the Car to the wrong characteristics :confused:

I must try out Your settings .

Or can I find the error in the Color of the Car :D



But the reverse route make much moore fun :cheers:

The Chronology just for the record:

Post 55: Jimeez turns in this really @#%$@# time to beat!

Post 56: UB acknowledges the really @#%$@# time!

Post 57: I tell Jimeez to take his marbles and go home:lol:

Post 58: UB (my partner) comes back with this pretty fast time that climbs all over the back side of Mr. P

Post 59: I am very quick to encourage my partner along

Post 60: Mr P who now has UB all over his backside on the leaderboard now decides to get out the "MOMO".

...various other posts during which I post a "modest" time

Post 68: My partner UB57 blames me for Mr P digging out the "MOMO":D

Can't fire me... I didn't do nuthin':lol:

Like I've said before, staying within 1 second per minute is my Goal chasing drivers like Mr P. If he goes back to His MOMO I'll be that far behind or more in short order!!! ...UB57 :D

Team GTBN just recieved another 3 truck loads of Speedster's to crash and I did'nt dissapoint.
7.556, 23.884, 1'42.370:irked: 1'06.715clean. I can see more time comming off, it's just very hard to get into a rythum when your crashing all the time.:rolleyes:
 
LDM and Mitch how are you guys getting into the first sector so fast :eek:
I think the best T1 time I have is a 7.6 :(

I'm done with these now :) well done to all 👍

a very frustrating repetitive bend 1 scenario took my drive away :D
 
Actually, although I feel your pain on bend 1 having found myself caught in a loop from time to time there, my real frustration has been the last dang corner. For some reason or another, you and Jimeez are able to get around that corner and up the street lickety split. For the life of me I cannot find that line:irked:
