Actually, if they follow the pattern, it would be japanese non-racecars (at eifel), as the american race was both racecars and non racecars, and this one is racecars only.

@Lionpaw , @RiffleKing , @Mynor Aquino , @iharrison9 , @Kevin Panting , @gladaran :
About the game crash bug, I can not say what is causing it, but I can tell you that I have a very old PS3, with almost no free hard drive space at all, and a very old copy of the game. This would make me a prime target for this bug, but I have never encountered it, or anything like it.
What I do have is a 500mbit ultrafast fiberoptic internet connection... so from where I'm sitting, that seems highly likely to be the cause if the bug.
hey ej, how much expensive there's to get an 1/2Gbps connection? i have only 20mbit for some 500Kc (est. 18,5€ or 20$)

?... and many many of troubles, however weird, especially last weeks/months

I have a fast connection too, so yeah, that could be the reason if the people who experience crashes all have slow connections.

Golded and done, very frustrating getting penalties for ramming while they ram into you

I agree about the frustration in getting penalties when the AI crashes you. This has been a peeve of mine since the game came out. There are a few other things too. The "get one mm off of the track and you are whipped into a violent spin" glitch. Oh, and there is the "glace into the wall, and against Newton's 3rd law, your car turns into the wall no matter which direction you are going" anomaly. Kaz is a race car driver, these things shouldn't be happening in The Real Driving Simulator. Does anyone know how to get in touch to inquire/report/get support on this Seasonal Event?

RJ-45 for me. Locked at least 3 times for me.

Not entirely convinced about WiFi being the cause. This is all anecdotal and we have not heard from very many people about the types of connections they have.

However, some months ago I used WiFi, and I found it to be pretty shaky. That's why I went back to actual RJ-45 cable.

If a significant number of people are connecting via RJ-45 and are experiencing system crashes, it can't be solely the use of WiFi that is to blame. Some people may have WiFi with the router near the PS3, and some may have the two devices at too great a distance from each other.

To those who are experiencing (and not experiencing) crashes, between your PS3 and your modem/router/network gateway, are you using ?
1. WiFI
or
2. RJ-45 cabled connection

This event is the most unpredictable i've ever tried, really; in the 8th lap i was leading with +40 secs with fresh hard tires and plenty of gas, doing fine and all but suddenly i realize that at the 9th lap the jag rabbit was catching up with half a sec per sector ( it was quite noticeable, because i was doing really fast laps and i found that quite strange) All of sudden by the end of said 9th lap the tailhappy mclaren begins to spin ( with a 0% of humidity and no rain) and crash every 2 or 3 turns letting the jag to quickly catch up and overtake me. It was the last lap and i thought "ok i can make this, i totally got this." And you know what? The car starts losing grip with a regular pattern making me crash and spin during the entire final lap. One last thing: i wasn't even payed for the second place.:lol::lol:

Why can i run the Sierra event without problems while i can't run Death Valley without crashes? I think there's a bug in the payout. It doesn't happen to everybody, so there might happen something at random. But once you have it, you can't get rid of it.

This event for me is far easier than the American Death Valley event. Quickest car is the PUG 905B, easy win on I.M. tyres.

Since GT6 was released people have experienced systems crashing on seasonal events, I have played and won every single event and this is the first event crashing as happened to me.

So doubtful anything to do with Wifi connection and more likely a bug in the software, maybe its peoples locations they are playing from, whatever it is, once its been reported it should be fixed quickly.

If anyone knows were to report it please post it on here, maybe if more people complain it will get fixed.

No crashes - RJ-45 cabled connection - all updates - sweden

The question here should be: why does Sony and/or PD allow this situation to exist? All gamers are equal, but some are more equal than others?

I'm using WFFI, yesterday I raced with no problem, surprised the heck out of me.

I am so DONE with this BS that is GT6! I had a 5 second lead on the 8th lap when out of no where the DIABLO catches me on the straight, rear-ends me on the first corner at full speed pushing me into the wall and drives off as if nothing happened. I couldn't catch him for the entire lap as my car never handled properly and I went from 1st with a 5 second lead, to 10th 31 seconds behind. I'm tired of being bounced around like a friggin' pinball at the amusement of the AI only to be handed multiple ramming penalties! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

they soooo apologise!!! support their business, they will maybe get resp/ect/onsibility ... let them to know, how much we need them!

I agree, that's the worst thing about GT6 and it seems that they like it that way, stupidity at its finest.
Instead of fun, they create hate.

As my usual.... I tried some different cars that most people wouldn't think of trying.... Just to be different. I was kind of surprised the 561 PP, Renault Sport Megane Trophy Base Model '11 won, even with my two penalties. I don't think I ever won an expert level seasonal with the VW GTI Supersport VGT or the Lambo Diablo GT2 '98 before? The Diablo GT2 '98 is definitely not the best handling "race car" in GT6!

Wish I had an answer to those who are having game crashes. No problems on my end, and I am using a wired connection.

my opinion: not so simply, more complex. its a chain, if any part weak - whole chain weak, however more and more parts = more probability of weak parts

Anyone else reach 90% precipitation? 1st try I used the McLaren F1 GTR car. After lap 5 it just keep pouring and reached 90%, hard to keep the car on the road with inters on. Then with 2 laps to go, the track dried out. I had 6 bars on the tires so I thought okay I got this. On the last lap I burned the right rear off and had to stop cause I was just spinning out. The 2nd try I used the Bentley Speed 8. Never got above 30% precipitation and a fairly easy win. Fun event when you can keep the tires on the car.

96% precipitation at the end of lap 7 in the Mercedes CLK touring car. Was leading by 48 seconds. Pitted for full wet tires and when i was back on the track the rain stopped within a few minutes. Lost P1 to the Jaguar and P2 to the Phoenix R8 and ended up 3rd with front tires down to 1.

I ran a race where I saw 100% precipitation. I still managed to win with the Elise. That was the first time that I had seen any race get that wet.
