About mission hall/mission 23

I would like to ask if someone has won mission 23 in the Japanese version of the game (skyline in the test course).What must you do to pass this damn first car? My best time is 1 min 800 behind the first.

I got around 3 seconds off from the front car....it is making me mad....if those stupid first few cars weren't all jumbled together and actually in a path like the other streamline missions....then it would be no problem...but NO..PD had to make it hard on us
