As I've said, we have another GTPlanet newcomer. And I mean, maybe I treat newcomers a little different than others, but I think if Luggnuts likes the AE86, then I have no problem with that. If you ask me, since I've seen one entire DVD of the first episodes of "Initial D," I've kind of gotten into the car. I wouldn't consider a "hachi-roku" ("eight-six") a choice for a daily driver, but it is still a car obviously loved and respected in its cinematic depictions. I think the same goes for the General Lee (a Dodge Charger), Eleanor (Shelby Mustang GT500), Car 54 (VW Beetle), and any others you may think of. I'm not trying to say that the "fanboys" of "Initial D" and "Fast and Furious" have no place posting stuff about cars they like. If you ask me, I think like this. Well, everyone gets into cars in some kind of way. To me, it stared with the Camaro Z28 of the mid-late 1990s, then racing with Need for Speed 1 SE. This was 1998 and 1999 respectively for me. I thought the Camaro was this exotic, but it was cheaply priced from what I seen in car ads in the Houston Chronicle (cheap plug, I know). But since then, I've grown respect for cars and slowly learned the art of the hobby.
Luggnuts, guaranteed, you WILL have an eight-six in your GT4 Garage at GT4's release! If you're fortunate, you'll even get the Shigeno Version (now called a Tuning Car). You can start with that car if it's inexpensive, then work your way up to the bigger and better rides and have 6, even 7-figure money balances. I did it, and so can you. But anyhow, you got into cars differently, and your fascination with cars probably started with "Initial D." That's no problem. But as I've said, PD has you covered. Fear not, AE86 lover... Oh, and hey. You can OWN people with your AE86 as you can photograph it with a USB printer. So Luggnuts, are you yet JACKED about GT4? I still am. That is all. Take care and Godspeed!
