Yeah. You would be amazed at the amount of adjustments made by a driver per lap and how those adjustments change throughout a stint. We are not talking F1 here of course.

Never said it didn't exist. I said I don't use it when I play gt5. Those who get used to using are not hard to beat when its disabled. I mean, lets jump into a lmp at full monty, and see who's staring at 6 o'clock.

Ditto.

I get aggravated a bit seeing gt5 and ps3 banners around that circuit when there is a lack of new prototypes in gran turismo. I've got high expectations for future dlc and gt6.

Like I said in the lobby. LMP TCS off all day. Those are different beasts. But trying to swing that Viper around would not have been fun for me without TCS.
 
Well that race was a disaster for me. After freezing up GT5, by the time I logged back on the race started and I realized the last minute tweaks I made to my setup didn't get saved and transmission was in automatic, totally threw me off. At lap 15 tires were toast, pulled over, walked back to the pits and went to have my dinner...and two more beers.

Is your stuff back in order? Did your NAT 1 testing screw things up?

I don't know what happened, but it happened to me 3 times this week. The screen goes black, I see the track map and I can see the cars take off on the map and that's it. Have to quit out of the game. I might have some screwed up settings from the testing, I think I will reset the PS3 network with the "auto" setup.

I saw black screen and the map only also. First time for me. As soon as other players dumped out I went back to pits then you got booted. Maybe you pressed exit during the black screen.
 
Were you able to get NAT1 through your router? Only way I can get it is by bridging my modem and hooking it directly to the PS3. I have to configure the PS3 to handle the PPPoE connection. So far I haven't figured out a way to do it through my router.

No I quit out with the PS button.

Never got NAT1, I'm not even sure what that would accomplish or if it would help us even. I was opening ports, static IPs, tried to get DMZ mode through the router ( i think that's like an open connection to the net) and achieved nothing, was always NAT2. No difference in speed (sometimes it got worse), same for pong/jitter. Tried plugging directly into my cable modem, but couldn't figure out what my IP address was/is and the auto setup wouldn't work, it would just fail at trying to find the ip address. I tried for 4 days straight and gave up.

I've noticed a long loading time this week at the start of a race. Who's to blame?!? I still believe that SONY/PD are the ones to blame. I'm sorry I'd rather pay for my 2 Xbox accounts than deal with this garbage every time we want to have a race. Free online gaming=junk. I've had it

I agree, everyone keeps trying to figure out who is to blame and the problem is with Sony/PD. We aren't the only ones having this problem. A lot of other series are finding it hard to race with over 12 people in a room.

Personally, I could care less if there are 12 or 16 cars, on a few tracks I'd much prefer only 12 cars on track. I know some of you are dead set on using mics, I enjoy the race a lot more when they are turned off. The chat before and after the race is ok, but mics should be turned off before qualifying starts and during the race. I can chat all week practicing, when it's time to race the mics are only a distraction.

It worked last night. Gives us a chance to shoot the scheissen during practice then move on to a better connected open lobby.

I have no problem doing that. Anything that's works. Let's run that Thursday in the final. It also let's me know exactly how many we have

Last Race. Spa. We are going to run a full grid of 16 with the below practice, qualify and race process.

-xR0ADRASHx lounge for mics. on during practice 6:00PM PST.
-Exit lounge while RR sets open an lobby at standard and mics. disabled.
-We all relax for a minute then join his open lobby with mics. set to disabled and qualifying begins as usual at 6:35PM PST.

Envy, DA and Zoh will be joining to make our race full. We will know if things are lagging during qualifying and can restart the race with points contenders only if need be. My hopes are that we can fine tune our race lobby at Spa successfully in this manner so OGR, STC S4 and AIWJT S2 run smoothly in the future.
