all I know is that I hate the "corkscrew" and the "Andretti" hairpin and the "Rainey" curve
but I do like the "Rahal" straight, it's the only place that I know my car will be going where it is supposed to!
I am still 20 sec off of the lap record but I wil be too slow to catch those pesky Celica's!

I'm getting low 26's with a couple of hot laps in the 25's. Don't think my Celica has much more than that in it. :scared:
 
Almost every race here I've gotten pit glitched somehow. I need to practice pitting more than any brake zone!
 
Special Request:

After Fridays race I would like to ask if you could all please re-enter the track in your Stealth GT-R's with your racing number selected.

There are 2 300 spots that are empty so your fine to enter. Even if Tissimo shows up we don't mind if we have 9 500's on the track. More cars the better.

I have mics set to standard, anything less and we might as well not use them. But I don't think its a mic issue here its more the pit glitch thing, if you come in too fast it sets your car back and holds you for a penalty. We can run some practice race pits and see the proper entry speed. Then post them here and race day in the lounge.

I don't think the pit issue is a glitch or anything like that, you just need to enter them right.

Don't even get me started on the mic issue. (I was one of the ones that voted that the racing was more important than the chatting in the poll we had).

That link was a GT5 update that was back in June. There was a PS3 update last night for compatibility with the new handheld. :)
 
After the final race of the season and if DJ doesn't start up STC right away, I'm going to host 4 or 5 one make races. We will be using the new TC cars. The races will be open to all STC and ALLIN members and friends. I'll post further information of the regs, cars, schedule and tracks either here or on the STC thread in the weeks to come

What's this about? What specs for the car? I've never driven mine, if it needs some parts I'll have to get them before the race.

No racing. I just need all these cars on track at the same time for a one lapper. Tuning or practicing in the car is not needed as we won't be racing.

EDIT: Make sure you have your racing number on your ride.

I have to work on a computer for the local college this eve., but should be on by 9pm or so. Logan and supersnake should be around also, maybe we can get some 300's together for some sprints.

I will not be on until later this evening if I can make it at all
The service provider up here is upgrading the fiber optic lines to handle more traffic and provide faster connection speeds :crazy: Like 50MB/s isn't fast enough for downloading!!
 
Is anyone testing at Laguna right now? I have lounge open if not.
 
The GTP Inter-League SuperGT GT500 Challenge is this Saturday. There are two semi races before a final race. The AIWJT crew, R0ADRASH, Jess, ncr and myself are in Semi A. Bo will be waiting in the flank to run in case any of us have a connection error.

We are racing the top drawer players and are excited to have been invited to the semi race even as the chance we face to make the final is slim.

18:30 to 18:45...Qualification......Single stint 15 minute live quali for the semis
18:45 to 19:30...Semi Final Races...45 minute races in two lobbies simultaneous
19:30 to 20:00...Break..............Tally points, determine advancing drivers/teams
20:00 to 20:15...Qualification......Single stint 15 minute live quali for finals
20:15 to 21:00...Finals Race........45 minute race
20:15 to 21:00...Consolation Race...45 minute race [optional]

We are proud to be able to represent the AIWJT Crew and the STC Crew by racing clean and keeping it live.
