Hi there Jetboys427,i'll try and help you out.Well i try and help you out,here is my rendition of your avatar.....hope i'm not making trouble or anything.....(and by the way,im not that good at editing either so you just have to forgive me if i messed up or anything)
 
I think this is a hard one but I'll ask it anyway.

I've screen capped this from the Rocks the '80s website: http://www.guitarherogame.com/gh80s/

Is it possible to remove the background, leaving just the logo (Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80s) with the guitars, roses and flames?

Yeah, that looks great. Could you just remove the media player and the woofers at the top too? :D

And maybe make the background transparent?

Look up at my last post for the update.Sorry if i can't do anything else cause its like 4 a.m. here in Malaysia and i need to get some sleep.Just stick with this one for awhile and wait for me to go back online or you could ask someone else to help you.Well,goodnight for now (or good morning in my case.....)

mnm_bmx edited his post later, without the media player at the top of the picture.

The background is still white when I set it up as an avatar though, so I would appreciate if you, or anyone else, could make it transparent.
 
I think the problem here is the size.

When GTP resizes it to 100*100 the pictures loose their transparency.

Here you are, I've resized it accordingly for you. Put this one in as your avatar and you should be good to go mate.

I also made an attempt at replicating jetboy's avatar.
here it is:

I made the flags at the bottom a bit bigger and i changed the font.
If you want another font i can change it.

Post Script: The car featured (The yellow Stingray) is one of the two only produced ZL-1 Corvettes in existance. It's equivelent to saying it's an idol car of mine.. It was rated from the factory at 560 hp and could do about 180 mph. Rediculous. :cheers:

And sold for around $10,000 in 1969. :D
 
Are there any freeware programs that can resize an animated gif?
I'd be grateful if someone has a link they could post.

It dosent really work right...im trying to do an image which is about 300kb and it says its over 400kb and it wont work. :(
