First of all, Scott, thanks for those comments. Anytime you can bring up a discussion that will be looked back and have at least positive commentary for, you have to feel pretty good to see a good argument continue on. I honor your kindness because we're here to have fun, not go at each other's throats like in my experience in AOL Chats.
Now that I'm done with Finals, I have more time to play my games (and enroll for classes next Spring, of course). I'm actually going to try to put more attention on racing cars from "South City" in GT2. Of course, these are all the American rides ranging from compacts to muscle cars to race cars. You know, if you're just starting out in GT2, make enough money in races, and you want a nice American machine, I can look around for you in GT2. You can opt for a Dodge Challenger at 11,500 Cr. It has 289hp but weighs in at 3650 lbs. At 21,081 Cr, you can get a Dodge Charger at 384hp and 3785 lbs. Go to Ford and get a Mercury Cougar from 1967 at 319hp and 3522 lbs (sounds about good, right?). A 'Cuda can be yours in GT2 at 289hp and 3591 lbs at the Plymouth lot.
These are the affordable muscle cars (on the basis of 25,000 Cr or less). The one I like most for horsepower and weight has to be the 42,400 Cr GT350. It comes with a racing mod, and it's 305hp at 2799 lbs- about the lightest muscle car. Plus, you know what you're getting when it comes from one of my fellow Texans, Caroll Shelby. So if you like muscle cars and GT, play around with GT2. It'll scratch that itch for you.
